Featuring a beachfront location in Vodice, 700 metres from Vodice Marina, Hotel Olympia Sky offers an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre. The view was amazing. The breakfast staff was very friendly, food and service was excellent. Housekeeping ladies were very helpful.

We vacationed in Croatia for the first time. We really liked nature, people and the hotel itself. Tasty and varied food, clean, pleasant staff. The children liked the animation and children's room. I would like to come back again.

Urania is a hotel resort located near the beach. Each apartment is equipped with a kitchen and a living room with a sofa, satellite TV and a telephone. Parking is also available. Resort Urania really surprised me in a good way. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment that was spacious enough for 4 people. The apartment’s equipment was unbeatable – the resort really thought of everything. The rooms were clean, and while cleaning was done on request, you could change the sheets yourself whenever needed (I don’t see that as a minus). Breakfast was very rich, with something for everyone. The quality of the ingredients was high, and the fruit selection was one of the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Dinner was the same story – very tasty food, a wide selection, grilled dishes on the terrace, and a large variety of desserts – and not just different puddings or jellies in cups like you often get in supposedly “higher-class” hotels. These were real baked cakes and pastries. Within the hotel grounds there’s a perfect children’s playground, big enough so it doesn’t get boring quickly, and our son really spent a lot of time there. You could reach the beach within a few minutes, it was really just a short walk. There was plenty of space on the beach, it didn’t feel crowded at all. Note – it’s a public beach, so umbrellas and sunbeds are only available for a fee, and the price was quite high (around 15 euros for a set of two sunbeds and an umbrella). There were plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.

Facing the seafront, Aminess Style Camping Avalona Glamping Villas & Holiday Homes offers 5-star accommodation in Povljana and has a fitness centre, garden and terrace. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We had our own private pool, which was cleaned daily and kept perfectly maintained, with pleasantly heated water at 28°C. The cabin was new, spotless, fragrant, and perfectly equipped — everything we could possibly need was there. Even though it was peak season, the aquapark was never overcrowded, and we could enjoy the slides almost without waiting. The beach was beautiful, and the floating castle for children was a wonderful bonus. Overall, it was the best holiday we’ve had so far with our children (aged 9 and 6).

Located in Stari Grad, 200 metres from Hotel Beach, Valamar Amicor Resort provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Great hotel, super friendly and supportive staff, and an amazing kids club!

Facing the seafront, Poseidon Mobile Home Resort is an apartment featuring a 4-star accommodation in Makarska. It has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and private parking. The staff was really nice and friendly. The pool area is nice, the breakfast was good. The 'apartment' was really clean and had everything we needed. The area in front of the apartment was nice and pretty private.

Located in Stari Grad, 1.2 km from Lanterna, Maslina Resort provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Every little detail has been thought of. A fantastic, sustainable hotel in a beautiful location - not too far from Stari Grad. The wellness complimentary timetable was excellent and we enjoyed the yoga classes very much each morning. The spa was one of the nicest we've been in and the gym was great for a hotel gym. We borrowed hotel bikes to get to and from Stari Grad which were wooden - such a great idea to offer this for guests! Completely blown away by the helpfulness of the staff and also made to feel looked after by them. Such a brilliant hotel, I will be coming back here at some point for a longer vacation as we felt sad to leave.
