Located in Stari Grad, 200 metres from Hotel Beach, Valamar Amicor Resort provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This resort has it all and is perfect for families, be it the smallest ones or more grown-up kids (adults will love it too). The resort is eco-friendly, so there's that. The staff is amazing. As I came to breakfast the first morning, I stood there somewhat bewildered as to what was what. But lo and behold. A member of the staff asked if they could show me around. I've never experienced that before. It was not that I got escorted through the lavish buffet, but that the waiter noticed my predicament and acted on it. That is something of note. The food was great, loads of variety. Grilled fish, meat and vegetables, and, of course, easy stuff for the kids such as pizza, etc. And please, try their local wine. It's truly worth it And the place was clean. There was absolutely nothing that bothered me in that regard. Last but not least: beds and pillows were so comfortable. I really didn't want to get out of bed. Also, there is a short walk 1½ km/1 mile to a store close by if you need something. After that, just a few more steps into a beautiful town that dates at least back to 300 BC. Tl;dr: Choose this resort for your vacation. It's well worth your time and hard earned money.

Every little detail has been thought of. A fantastic, sustainable hotel in a beautiful location - not too far from Stari Grad. The wellness complimentary timetable was excellent and we enjoyed the yoga classes very much each morning. The spa was one of the nicest we've been in and the gym was great for a hotel gym. We borrowed hotel bikes to get to and from Stari Grad which were wooden - such a great idea to offer this for guests! Completely blown away by the helpfulness of the staff and also made to feel looked after by them. Such a brilliant hotel, I will be coming back here at some point for a longer vacation as we felt sad to leave.

Facing the beachfront, PLACES Hvar Villas by Valamar offers 4-star accommodation in Stari Grad and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and shared lounge. Stayed in a villa 2+3 with sea view. Small but really Lovely and perfect for a family of 4. In the price was a voucher of €25 per person per day which was a really well thought out way of making you feel as if you’re getting more value for money.
