This hotel has easily been the best we have stayed in during many trips to Italy. Everything about the hotel was exceptional from the attention to detail in the design to the food in the on-site restaurant. The staff were attentive and polite throughout our stay. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the views was perfect every morning and the wellness centre was a lovely addition. Dining in the on-site restaurant is a must, we had the best pasta dishes we have ever tasted.

Set in Nepi and within 6.8 km of Vallelunga, Castello di Pandora features a spa and wellness centre, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. If I could give this place an 11 I would. The castle is gorgeous, the owners were so friendly and helpful. They provided us with recommendations for the area which was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the spa and the outdoor area as well.

Located in Terracina, 22 km from National Park of Circeo, Il Sentiero di Leano provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The place is an amazing adventure for kids. It has a big playground, an animal farm and a pool (which we haven't tried because of the weather). It was perfectly clean and the host was lovely.

It was fantastic, even if you don’t like wine. We thought we would spoil ourselves for our 45th wedding anniversary and what a great pick. We stayed 3 nights and raced back from our daily excursions, every evening, to enjoy the dining. The entire venue is superb and is ideal for larger events both indoors and out. All the people working there seemed to take personal pride in the establishment and their local product. It’s a family operation and as a visitor you can feel the difference. We also received some wonderful suggestions regarding surrounding area sites. There is an endless list of incredible places to visit within an hours drive. If you are interested in regional wines and vineyards, Stefano has an encyclopedic knowledge accumulated through a lifetime in the business that he will take the time to share.

The history of the building, his family and Atina is very interesting. A definite “10”
