They provided us with recommendations for the area which was exactly what we were looking for. We loved the spa and the outdoor area as well.

It is in a beautiful setting. The property has 2 pools, one private and the other more central. The gardens and buildings are very well maintained and have a rustic but updated charm. It is private and very quiet. We appreciated being able to bring our service dog. He was very well received by the staff.

The Location is realy luxurious and comfortable. Spa area is like everything there state of the art. Lukasz (the operator) is very sympathic, friendly and helpful. There are only twelve people living in Onario - I met four of them and they were all great (including the indian priest who drove me to Poggio San Lorenzo at 6.30 am :)

We thought we would spoil ourselves for our 45th wedding anniversary and what a great pick. We stayed 3 nights and raced back from our daily excursions, every evening, to enjoy the dining. The entire venue is superb and is ideal for larger events both indoors and out. All the people working there seemed to take personal pride in the establishment and their local product. It’s a family operation and as a visitor you can feel the difference. We also received some wonderful suggestions regarding surrounding area sites. There is an endless list of incredible places to visit within an hours drive. If you are interested in regional wines and vineyards, Stefano has an encyclopedic knowledge accumulated through a lifetime in the business that he will take the time to share.

Set in a historical building in Atina, Palazzo del Senatore features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and free WiFi throughout. We randomly selected this location as a halfway stop on our road trip from southern Puglia to Tuscany. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the accommodation, the village and the area were so beautiful and exceeded our expectations! We wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were very friendly and the history of the Palazzo and their family is very interesting. The rooms are historic, but with all modern comforts including modern bathrooms and comfortable beds, desk, storage, small fridge, iron/board etc. Everything is impeccably clean. The breakfast terrace is beautifully furnished and the view over the mountain valley is spectacular. The village itself is very pretty and charming and we loved getting a drink at the bar next to the Palazzo Ducale in the old centre, just two minutes walk from the hotel. The locals were also very friendly, a couple of them pointing out historic details to us. They seemed quite proud of the history, including the remains of a Roman cistern. Highly recommend this place to those looking for the road less traveled. We definitely want to go back.
