O Mountain Side Hakuba oferece vista das montanhas e das pistas de esqui durante a temporada de inverno. A propriedade fica a apenas 3 minutos a pé de uma loja de esqui e snowboard local. Everything was fantastic! Beautiful and comfortable bedrooms, living room, bathrooms & kitchen. Nice views, especially from living room. Having in-room laundry was great. No one at reception desk, but the staff we saw (outside or cleaning the room) were super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful vibes with owners Kimi and Miyu, with their lovely daughters running amok and bringing cheer everywhere! Rooms were great. Breakfast was just right, decent variety and plentiful, perfect for fuelling before a day out. Really wonderful memories of Japow house, especially while winding down in the evenings with other guests, amidst the open and homely vibe. One thing to note for rental cars - make sure you get a 4wd, else when the snow picks up, you have to park at the post office carpark some ways out nearer the main town strip.

I never experienced such VIP service otherwise in the world. Whole reception teams demonstrated what extraordinary service should be. I arrived late by bus and was welcomed by one receptionist in bus stop. so I did not need to carry my luggage in the snowing road. They even opened the ski rental shop for me after working hour. The next morning, I missed public shuttle bus and they offered to use hotel shuttle bus to drive me over to ski lift in Yakebitaiyama without reservation in advance. I felt that I was living with a lot of friends instead of living in hotel. I was too tired to try the bar at night, and I would like to try it next time. Swimming pool was good with quite warm water. Hot bathing place with best view. Sun rising over snow mountain top. Breakfast was very good with many variations. The dinner I ordered was pork hotpot, and personally I think the starter tasted better and pork meat is okay. I will try something else next time. All in all, the service and room condition are all top.
