The hosts are the best I have ever experienced at any accommodation. Particularly the hosts, but all staff are willing to help all day. From breakfasts, to dropping us off to the slopes and looking after apres. Unrivalled. Can't recommend The Guest House enough to all groups

Open from August 2018, featuring Mount Asama views and a single-star Michelin restaurant, Le Grand Karuizawa Hotel and Resort is located in Karuizawa. It was in a beautiful setting with natural beauty all around. The staff were always friendly and polite. Service was perfect. The room was very comfortable and stylish.

Mountain Side Hakuba offers views of the mountains and the ski slopes during the winter season. The property is just a 3-minute walk away from a local ski and snowboard shop. Everything was fantastic! Beautiful and comfortable bedrooms, living room, bathrooms & kitchen. Nice views, especially from living room. Having in-room laundry was great. No one at reception desk, but the staff we saw (outside or cleaning the room) were super friendly and helpful.

Directly connected to the slopes of Okushiga Kogen Ski Resort and within a 1-minute walk from the Lift 1, Hotel Grand Phenix Okushiga provides a convenient ski-in/ski-out access. Incredible service and incredible overall experience. It's like staying in a fancy cabin in the snow. The lounge area with the giant fireplace is awesome, very nice food, very spacious rooms and first class facilities such as the onsens and indoor swimming pool. The decor could be interpreted as dated (as other reviews have stated) but we felt this simply adds to the warmth and cosiness of the establishment. The service here is seriously next level and it is fantastic value for money.

Located in the Kamikochi mountain resort, Kamikochi Lemeiesta Hotel features indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and spacious Western-style rooms with views of Mount Roppyaku. Great location in Kamikochi. Good facilities including onsen and restaurant. Excellent view to the mountain.

Offering a magnificent view of Mount Asama, Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel features an 18-hole golf course and a spa. This is a hotel located in a country golf club. Facilities first class. Dinner was a 4 course western fine dining.. scallop appetiser done 2 ways, a fish, a meat dish and dessert. Fantastic meal. The half board dinner plan is preferred as prices are at a discount to a la carte prices. Lovely onsen. Beautiful views from room.

Situated within a private forest and boasting outdoor hot springs and award-winning cuisine, Sierra Resort Hakuba is a 10-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station. The hotel was very comfortable, included many nice amenities, the staff was very friendly and helpful, very nice installations.
