The slightly remote, back-water riverside location might not be for everyone, but was just perfect for me. I loved being able to go out kayaking whenever, or just relax around the facilities surrounded by greenery. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, in Asia (for my admittedly western tastes where I often find Asian beds are too hard for me). The food at the restaurant was excellent, and staff were very helpful at arranging day trips, and shuttle into town. It’s very easy and cheap to get a tuktuk back from Kampot city centre.

We really enjoyed our stay and have booked to stay again! The diamonds (rooms with en-suite bathroom) are delightful. They are spacious, beautifully designed in a diamond shape, clean and have a wonderful, calm atmosphere. The property is set in fabulous grounds on the Mlech lake where turkeys, geese, sheep and many other birds roam freely. We enjoyed swimming in the natural pool and borrowed a kayak and bicycles, free of charge. Our favourite dish was fish soup made with fish from the lake. The owner, Dara was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.

Amazing place,.very calm, with great facilities. Kayaks for free to do little tour in the river, nice pool. Gym not working at the moment though. Food was tasty and fresh.

The hotel is a perfect place to take in the sights and sounds of Kampot. The staff were excellent and the room just what we had hoped for. The boat service into the town was super convenient. We definitely would stay again.

You are in the city center, away from the hustle and bustle, crossing the bridge over the river. An oasis in the noisy city. Breakfast on weekdays, when there are fewer people, is prepared from a menu. There is a small additional offer in the form of a buffet. We ate the western cuisine offer, it was enough even for my husband. The food was fresh and tasty. Relaxing by the pool was great.

Based in the natural green beauty of Kampot, Villa Vedici offers both relaxing stay and exciting activities. The atmosphere was perfect; beautiful place at the river with amazing views. Nice staff, two swimming pools and Hans and Seyha made it a perfect stay. We will be back! My advice: order a cocktail at the river, chill on the river deck and watch the sunset;)!

Hosts Rudi and Marko very helpful... good pool in quiet location but only short ride to town. Good motor bike available to hire. Comfortable spacious bungalow. Rudi also has a restaurant in kampot.."Balkan restaurant" which serves amazing meat dishes. Would definitely stay again.. great value accomodation.
