The service and food were excellent. An enjoyable 15 minute bicycle (they are free) ride to Elements Resort on the beach. The owner Anushka is a wealth of knowledge and was able to organize dolphin watching and onward travel for a reasonable price.

My husband and I came on our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. The safari organisation was so easy, we had our own jeep and a great driver. We got picked up, taken to the park about 10 mins away, had breakfast and lunch provided to us and saw lots of animals. On our second day of safari we sat eating our breakfast watching a leopard!! What more could you want. The Ceylon contacted us before we arrived to organise the safari and it worked like clockwork. The room was very clean and spacious, the food was EXCELLENT! We had to get the recipe for one of the curries from the buffet (highly recommend having that, very authentic buffet). Roshan was the most amazing and hilarious host making us feel very welcome and entertaining. He was very happy to help with anything we asked. You can tell they have put a lot of effort And money into making the place nice, and also safe (elephants etc). Amazing chilled vibes and nice other guests to chat to about your day on safari. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. Friendly staff and dogs. Beautifully decorated place to stay that focuses on sustainability, which I applaud. The food was amazingly delicious that was cooked with local ingredients. It offers yoga sessions and a boat ride to explore beyond its location.

The staff are exceptional — genuinely kind, attentive, and warm. A heartfelt thank you to Roshan, Telan, and the entire team for making us feel completely at home, and for going above and beyond to help us prepare such special moments: the proposal, a birthday celebration, Christmas and all our excursions. Villa Sethawadi will always hold a special place in our hearts, and there’s no doubt we will return.

The staff are also very helpful. The food is very tasty.
