The breakfast is very tasty - Pria is a wonderful cook. It was all very tasty and fresh. My favorite are Sri Lanka omelette and coconut milk porridge. Fruits and veggies were super fresh. I enjoyed staying here and I think it a great value for money.

Only the luxury villa was available for the remaining days, and the hotel kindly offered us a generous discount. The location is perfect—right by the beach with soft, clean sand. The pool is fantastic, and there’s a lovely garden area where you can relax on swan floats under the trees. The restaurant exceeded our expectations with delicious food, and the cocktail bar was a true highlight—something that’s often missing in Sri Lanka. A truly unforgettable stay. Highly recommended!

The Junior Suite we booked was spacious and elegant, with the highlight being the Jacuzzi Bath – a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. Adding to its charm, the balcony offered a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding nature, and we were fortunate to witness stunning sunsets over the nearby lake, creating unforgettable memories. Although the resort's large inviting pool was enjoyable, some sharp corners around the area caused minor inconveniences and led to an unfortunate toe injury. Nevertheless, our overall experience remained highly enjoyable. The hotel's convenient location allowed easy access to the ocean and beach, where we found several delightful restaurants for lunch or dinner. Inside the resort, we had the pleasure of dining at their lovely restaurant, offering reasonable prices and a varied, tasty breakfast. The staff was friendly and attentive, and while there was a minor disagreement about the exchange rate during payment, the managers handled the situation with professionalism, swiftly resolving any issues and leaving us with a positive impression of their commitment to guest satisfaction. Amaranthe Bay Resort's well-maintained and peaceful ambiance made our stay perfect. Děkuji, děkuji děkuji. Nechtěla jsem domů! Největší díky patří Dileepa, který udělal maximum pro můj pobyt. Můj pobyt byl od první minuty dokonalý. Jako velký milovník přírody oceňuji propojení resortu a přírody. Je úžasné každé ráno snídat s ratufami, nebo místní kočkou, vylézt ze své beach cabin rovnou do džungle a užívat si naplno souznění s přírodou. :) Moje beach cabin byla úchvatná. Velmi oceňuji klimatizaci, která fungovala perfektně, také pohodlnou postel, kde jsem se vyspala jako princezna a možnost vybrat si z vnitřní i venkovní sprchy. :) oceňuji také jako žena mnoho úložného prostoru. Co se týče snídaní - wow ! Naprosto dokonalé vejce benedikt ! A nejen ty! :) Užívala jsem si každou minutu a ukápla mi slza, když jsem musela odjíždět. Snad se ještě někdy uvidíme.

Breakfast was very good. The room and beds were comfortable. The gigantic pool was fantastic. The place is starting to show its age but is still very nice. The beach is directly in front of the hotel.
