Everything! Secluded, far from the city. We were a bit worried it is far from city center but ended up staying on the property for whole 3 days without leaving at all. Amazing room, private empty beach. Building is beautiful, spacious and very well designed. Your eyes will be resting wherever you look. Staff is super attentive and takes care of anything sometimes before you know you want it. The food is delicious, pricy compared to Sri Lanka but definitely worth the value. Mutton biriyani was out of this world. We were in a low season and there was only 6-10 guests in the hotel. Altogether about 15 rooms on the property. Wake up early to catch the sunrise! Worth every rupee

Exceptional service at a true 5-star hotel! We had such a wonderful 3-day stay that we decided to extend our visit at the end of our trip. The team arranged all of our activities seamlessly. A special thanks to the Guest Relations Executive, Sri Mayuran, who was extremely helpful, as well as Mithu from the restaurant —both made our holiday truly memorable. The hotel is spotless, the food is delicious, and the location is excellent. Highly recommended!

Highlight war natürlich der eigene Pool, perfekt für den Start in den Tag.

It was exactly what I expected and exactly what I wanted, something unique and different. A tropical beach garden vibe. There are only 5 units and so it was quiet. An older property that has been carefully renovated. The common area has a "beachcomber" feel, funky in a good way, with lots of plants and palms everywhere. Each unit has a covered terrace with chairs and a low table and is surrounded in greenery. I really liked the fact that the rooms are quirky and fun and refreshingly different from most accommodation. Only 1 small window in each unit but Elena has cleverly got around this by painting the walls bright white with colourful murals and linens and excellent lighting which made the whole room light and bright and full of colour. New floor tiles. The room had this unique fresh feel. There was ample furniture in the room to put things on. Fresh linens and plenty of towels. Strong fan and good A/C. The big bathroom had been modernised, and had both a cool shower and a hot shower with instant hot water and good water pressure. There was a small unit of shelves to put bathroom things on. Very clean. There is a small above ground plunge pool but it wasn't operating when I was there. But that doesn't matter at all as the ocean is only a stone's throw away. Plenty of parking for my motorbike. The property is safe & secure. Excellent location as it's a very short stroll to Upuvelli beach which is a wide beach with clean sand and a few cafes and restaurants. The beach slopes gently into the water, stays shallow for a little distance, and only had low waves which makes it ideal for families to swim in. Elena is very helpful and arranged snorkeling and an exceptional Ayurvedic massage, both at a discount. The property is quiet. I found the other guests friendly and Elena has created a happy, social place. No parties, no karaoke and so you can really relax here. It is an excellent price considering its proximity to the beach.

The service is excellent, and everything is managed with great care. I truly enjoyed my time here and would happily recommend Blue Diamond Resort to friends and family visiting Trincomalee.

Das 108 Palms Beach Resort liegt in der Nähe von Trincomalee in Salli-Sampaltivu und bietet Unterkünfte am eigenen Strand. Ein kleines Paradies am Strand. Sehr weitläufig und schön gemacht. Personal sehr gut drauf und sehr hilfsbereit. Küche von Frühstück bis Abendessen sehr sehr gut. Man merkt das der Koch sein Job gerne macht. Abendessen hat seinen Preis ist es aber Wert. Auch sehr netter Besitzer. Guter Ort um abzuschalten aber auch die Gegend zu erkunden. Scooter war vor Ort zu mieten.
