Secluded, far from the city. We were a bit worried it is far from city center but ended up staying on the property for whole 3 days without leaving at all. Amazing room, private empty beach. Building is beautiful, spacious and very well designed. Your eyes will be resting wherever you look. Staff is super attentive and takes care of anything sometimes before you know you want it. The food is delicious, pricy compared to Sri Lanka but definitely worth the value. Mutton biriyani was out of this world. We were in a low season and there was only 6-10 guests in the hotel. Altogether about 15 rooms on the property. Wake up early to catch the sunrise! Worth every rupee

Nilaveli Beach Resort is set on the bronzed sands of Nilaveli Beach. This tranquil resort welcomes guests with a private beach area, cosy guestrooms and free internet access at all public areas. Everything. The beach, the food, the kind staff. We also met the owner and the manager, they were so welcoming and made such a good atmosphere. If we come back to nilaveli one day, for sure NBR will be our choice.

The property is newly built and has only been operating for about 2 months, so everything feels fresh and well maintained. Close to the beach but far enough to avoid the noise of late-night parties.
