Allegro Cozumel All-Inclusive is located on Cozumel Island’s San Francisco Beach, off Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It offers a hot tub, sauna and outdoor pools, one with waterslides. I have been coming here for years, and the hotel went above and beyond for my short trip. It was my sons birthday wish to be at Allegro. He has special needs, and they went above and beyond for him, and all staff are amazing.

Turquoise often crystal clear waters are just offshore. Beneath the surface are breathtaking reefs to attract undersea divers (and fantastic undersea life) from around the world and the Grand Park... First off: I'm rating the maximum because this hotel is grossly underrated for reasons I don't quite understand. A realistic rating would be in the high 8s, say 8,6 or 8,7. We stayed here as a family of four for what ended up to be 9 nights total in 2 separate bookings in June. It was our fourth stay (third hotel) on the Riviera Maya, and with spending about a third of a year in hotels we have to say it was so far the best all inclusive resort we ever stayed in. It's a smaller resort, conveniently located to everything on the island, and what first surprised us is that it has all the amenities of a big resort. Drink selection is good and bartenders are really up to speed when it comes to cocktails. The food in the main restaurant is actually very high in quality, especially lunch stands out as being particularly good (normally it's often leftovers from the previous nights' dinner, here, it's an actual meal selection, one day even a bbq party), there is always a decent choice (maybe the choice is bigger in other hotels, but there's always salads, meat, seafood, fresh soups, pasta, rice, etc. ... maybe some people don't like that fries are not a daily staple). We only tried the Italian restaurant, that actually had some high quality filet. We also enjoyed the Café that has great coffee. Staff is practically always friendly, which already started when we were introduced by Aldo, cleanliness and maintenance are top tier, bigger requests like staying in the same room for consecutive bookings were handled quickly and flawlessly. The shows stand out too. We've seen shows with lower quality than the Circus, the Fire Show, and (especially) the Magic Show on tour in Europe, and have never seen anything with quite such quality in a resort. Something to really look forward too!

Offering a spa centre and a private beach area, Fiesta Americana Cozumel All Inclusive is set in Cozumel in the Cozumel Region, 21 km from Playa del Carmen. First, I have to say that we travel a lot, and this for sure was the best travel of my life until now. I'll start talking about something very important to us: PEOPLE. And to anyone thinking to go to Cozumel, specially to Fiesta Americana: YOU SHOULD DO IT. The best staff I ever had in a hotel. People there are just great! Everyone very happy, friendly and helpful. I'll tell some names here, if I forgot someone I am really sorry, but we loved every single person there. Briana was so kind and helpful with us as soon we arrived, and also all other people in reception. In the pool bar, Ramon, Julian, Jose, Miguel, thank you so much guys! Great drinks and always being kind and attentive with us. Jose, the kitchen Chef, what an amazing person! Thanks for a so nice reception, my friend! Antonio in the Asian area restaurant was the best best best with us! And the guy from the Japan Corner, the best sashimi I ever had in my life! If you like it, you have to try the sashimi with jalapeños. Our room was always very clean, and they were very careful with every aspect... Thanks for the cleaning team! People in the ceviche restaurant, the grill restaurant and the breakfast restaurant were very helpful too. The food in Cevicheria is just unbelievable! And, of course, Irma, Emily, Sabina and Ramon, you guys made our days in the pool. Nice music, great pool games with a lot of fun! Girls, we never gonna forget the present with a so nice message <3 Now, about the hotel: Great place, amazing location. Not too big, but has what is needed. Everything works fine, and the both pools are excellent. The best part of it: it is not crowded! So, is great to relax. The parties every night were cool, and they have great artists there doing the presentations.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, The Explorean Cozumel All Inclusive is located in Cozumel, right on the Caribbean Sea. It is surrounded by jungle and features on-site snorkelling. The jungle location of this small resort made it different, more secluded and friendly than the usual big resorts, but we still had the advantages of the association with the Fiesta. We really enjoyed both the typical resort party atmosphere at Fiesta and the opportunity to retreat to the shady serenity of the Explorean. The daily included trips were good choices and much appreciated since the weather was quite disappointing. The guys who ran the trips were wonderful and very helpful. The trips themselves were mostly great. Our rooms were nothing fancy but very comfortable and clean. The shower was wonderful and always had hot water. The five choices of restaurants offered a good selection of food and booking a time was relatively easy. It was nice having our 'own' restaurant in the Explorean which never required booking.
