In general, the room was clean and well appointed and the food served for breakfast or for room service was great, but what really stood out was how warm and genuinely helpful the staff at Funny Lion were. Ms Val knew all guests by their names and greeted everyone cheerfully every day. Mr Ralph and Ms Zel really went the extra mile when I got injured during one of the tours too. All the other staff have also been helpful and attentive. We really appreciate every bit of our stay here! Will definitely choose Funny Lion again if we come back :)

The staff was very kind and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and breakfast buffet. It was perfect for a one night stay.

The hotel is great, the staff is lovely and the restaurant serves delicious food for a fair price. It isn’t the typical resort, the vibe is relaxed and cool. The room is spacious, impeccable cleaning, the A/C and bed are awesome. Plus, the hotel offers a transfer service to El Nido main square.

Dosplaya was the excellent choice for the quiet, relaxed, cozy, down-to-earth island paradise holiday that I was craving. Its simplicity is its beauty - large hut made of natural, local materials, small menu with fresh home-made dishes, shared but clean bathrooms and toilets, renewable energy source, and the stillness of nature. The fantastic bonuses are the two glorious beaches, the warm and personalized service from William (owner) and Grace (manager), the spectacular view of the night sky, and the well-preserved corals meters from the beach. WiFi was strong and fast enough at the restaurant for a video call. I adored my hut - tastefully designed with just enough furniture to keep it spacious.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Homy and nice surroundings. Excellent food in both restaurants that we tried. This hotel is the true description of home away from home. If we ever go back to Palawan, we will definitely stay at The Funny Lion again.

The whole place with the 7 bungalows, located directly at the beach with a welcoming pool really felt like a sweet escape from busy El Nido. The meals from the restaurant were delicious. All of the working people were so kind and thoughtful during the whole stay, we felt very welcome. One morning we also took the SUP and kajak to explore the sea, they are free to use. We also did a relaxing combi massage to end our stay and loved it. Would recommend the place to everyone who wants to relax and enjoy a nice place!

You can rent a scooter or a tuk-tuk at the resort. The staff was wonderful, they were very kind and helpful, 24hrs/day. The place was clean and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was the best part of our day, we loved it. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Faith Tourist Inn for 5 days and it was just perfect - our host Shy and her family are so kind and welcoming , ensuring we have everything we need, the rooms are beautiful and clean and the location is amazing. The resort is located on a small beach where there are only a couple of other resorts, it is so quiet and peaceful and just beautiful. Shy organized our transfer from Puerto Princesa and boat transfer to the resort from port barton and also transfer to El Nido. She also can help with activities and suggestions. As the property is recent, they do not have a restaurant yet but you have free coffee and tea and there is another resort just next door where the food is excellent. It is a true paradise for anyone who enjoys peace and nature in a remote location yet where there is everything that you need. Thank you Shy and family for everything
