We stayed 3 days in one of the beautiful villa’s on the wine yard. We loved the privacy and quietness. The villa has a nice living room with kitchen where you can relax or make a small meal. We tasted on of their own produced wines which tasted great. Every morning fresh bread was delivered. There is a good espresso maker. After a day hiking you can swim in the pool and enjoy the view to the ocean, take a sauna or bath in the villa. There are several very good restaurants just 15 min ride from the villa. Not to forget the bed, bedsheets, pillows are amazing. We both slept very good. If you open the door you hear all night the sound of the river. Had best sleeping score since months

The view is awesome. The rooms modern style, well equiped, breakfast excellent, pool wonderfull. Very nice small village, no noise, only pure nature. Rocks, trees and the sea. The manager solve any problem very professional.

It was a very lovely stay with a clean, modern rooms and generous equipment (e.g. Dishwasher). The whole complex lies surrounded by lush green banana plants and has a stunning view towards the ocean, a swing was recently installed which we loved. Moreover the hosts were very friendly and gave useful recommendations. A cherry on top for every animal lover are the chicken and cats strolling around.

The luxurious Royal Savoy - Ocean Resort is set amidst tropical gardens in the Bay of Funchal, featuring 2 heated lagoon-style pools and private ocean access. Nice staff, rooms and exceptional breakfast.

Located on a slope overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Village Cabo Girao offers villas and apartments with access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, free private parking and free WiFi in shared areas.... We had an amazing 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a beautiful terrace and view, the beds were super comfortable. The hotel staff was very kind and professional, the hotel had good food, we ordered to the flat. The pools indoor and outdoor, and the playground for kids was great. I even tried the gym, i had a good workout. Really good price for such a professional service. Truly recommend!

With a private stretch of sandy beach along the Porto Santo shore, this 5-star resort features 2 natural-style pool areas surrounded by 30.000 m² of gardens. The buffet and drinks options were excellent. The snack bar was convenient, too. The resort was adorned in natural beauty with beautiful palm trees. Our two bedroom suit was huge. The hotel to the beach had a seamless connection with a beach bar. The water is stunning. We had dinner at the Portuguese and Italian restaurants, very good. Great value for the price.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. I was at the resort for 6 days. First of all, the staffs were so friendly and caring. Everyone was smiling and was nice. We planned on going to Funchal but eventually only did the west Madeira tour because my kids preferred to stay at the hotel and enjoy the swimming pool and the sun. All inclusive was super good. Beer and cocktail were awesome as we drank everyday enjoying the atmosphere. Foods were dynamic as the Christmas pre dinner was very good. Staffs were also friendly when serving buffet as the dishes were always taken away when I returned. The Christmas Santa show as well as party at 20 30 was always intriguing and fun. Thank you for everything and would like to go back to enjoy this Resort
