We loved!!! The place was so magical and peaceful, surrounded by brutal nature on an amazing cliffside vineyard, the feeling was as we were embraced by the ancient mountains. Absolutely breathtaking. We have been received like at home by Maria Joao and Marco, such a lovely hosts. They prepared an amazing dinner with plant-based options, that we appreciate so much. Truly the best meal we had in Madeira! In all we could feel the attention, good taste and love for this project, absolutely beautiful. The accommodations felt very comfortable and luxurious. The bed super comfortable as the their special pillows. Every day we have at the door fresh bread to have the breakfast at our Villa. Really get the sense that you're staying at a local family's business but with totally privacy, intimacy and detail. Everything worked in perfection! A must to try the sauna and the infinity pool, you magically melt with the landscape surrounded by the forest and the silence. We ABSOLUTELY recommend Terrabona Nature & Vineyards. If you appreciate nature, wellness, and good food, do yourself a favor and book for maybe one of the best travel experiences you'll have. For sure we’ll travel back, can’t wait! We stayed at Escarpa - Madeira hideaway in July, 2023 and what a find it was! Everything was of an excellent standard and nothing was too much trouble. The highlight of our stay had to be breakfast which was absolutely amazing and must have taken much time and care to prepare. Our well proportioned room with lovely views over the sea was delightful and so comfortable. Do make sure you book a meal at 90 degrees - you won’t be disappointed! We would certainly recommend a stay here

Saccharum - Resort & Spa is a luxury 5-star design hotel located on Calheta Beach, between the mountains of Madeira and the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel location was amazing! The view from breakfast and rooftop is breathtaking, its nicely close to Lobosonda whale watching (best whale watching company) :-) Friendly stuff and well organized hotel overall!

Located on a slope overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Village Cabo Girao offers villas and apartments with access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, free private parking and free WiFi in shared areas.... It was an unforgettable stay! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect - close to attractions, but at the same time in a quiet and peaceful area, which allowed us to have a relaxing break. Additionally, the presence of a mini market, bar and restaurant on site made our life easier and meant that we didn't have to look far for delicious meals. The rooms were not only clean, but also very well equipped, which increased the comfort of our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great vacation spot, and we are already planning our next stay here

With a private stretch of sandy beach along the Porto Santo shore, this 5-star resort features 2 natural-style pool areas surrounded by 30.000 m² of gardens. Excellent location, delicious food and drinks, several on-site restaurants, cozy rooms, beautiful grounds, convenient layout, good access to the beach, and a lovely beach itself.

Savoy Calheta Beach, facing the Atlantic Ocean, is located on Calheta Beach. This 4-star hotel features indoor and outdoor pools, spa, gym and access to the sea via the beach. First of all, the management pays attention to reviews and I found everyone very responsive and helpful! Xé was fantastic and team members were great! We found the food at the buffet fresh and varied, with lots of vegetables for those not wanting to eat much meat, though there were several meat and fish options. Fish was often very tasty, great desserts, nice breakfast options and this is why I feel the value for the money was very good, also because spa was included :-)

Offering 4 restaurants, 2 bars and Atlantic Ocean views, the 5-star Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel is situated on a cliff top on Madeira Island. Funchal’s centre is 10 minutes' walk away. Nice location and hotel. Room was clean. Breakfast buffet had great variety. Friendly, helpful staff.

Surrounded by tropical gardens, the seaside Pestana Grand Ocean Resort Hotel features the largest salt water pool on the Madeira Island. It was our first time visiting Madeira, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Although we unfortunately missed dinner on our first night, the young gentleman at reception welcomed us warmly with an aperitif and kindly informed us that dinner had been arranged for us in our room. It was exactly what we needed after our journey. Our room was well-suited for three people, with two comfortable beds for my wife and me, and an additional bed for our daughter. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful—immaculately clean, with an abundance of vibrant plants and flowers creating a truly lovely atmosphere.
