The unit is set in Foz do Douro, a 15-minute drive from the Porto centre. Some of the apartments in the unit feature views of the Ocean from its balcony. This location is priceless. We slept by a balcony looking out at the Atlantic Ocean. The full glass sliding door wall was heavily sound-resistant if we ever tired of the sound of waves. I would live here.

The staff was very kind and helpful. As we were the only ones at the facility, we were offered a kind upgrade. We were also offered breakfast baskets delivered to the door. The breakfast was very complete and with good products. I recommend.

Situated in Sandim, 18 km from Douro River, Bruval Eco Retreat features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We stayed at Bruval Eco Retreat only one night and regretted that we didn’t book more night there. Our stay was amazing. Accommodation was amazingly designed, modern, with private jacuzzi and swimming pool. Equipped with everything you need for comfortable stay with the family and a dog.

This is wonderful place to stay and explore the Douro Valley. Really helpful staff, great facilities and we were delighted with our complimentary breakfast and daily bakery delivery. Lovely walk to the nearby waterfall. The restaurant is fabulous.
