Hideaway Resort Banchang features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Ban Chang. Still trying to work out why this hotel is where it is, very remote location with little to nothing nearby. The staff are excellent from cooking breakfast to room maintenance, they do it all. One issue...we had room 210 for 8 days and the hotel was virtually empty and yet on two occasions they put guests in the room above us, and both times, the guests were extremely noisy, moving furniture at 11pm until midnight. Also, the hotel publicity material advertises that one of the beaches is 0.6km away...bit of a mistake there, it's not. Pool lovely, breakfast lovely, staff lovely. Just needs a tiny bit of polishing.

The place is marvellous, a chill and cozy spot to unwind in with everything you need on-site. The staff have been super accommodating, making us vegan meals every evening and even bringing food to our room when we were sick.

Situated in Mae Pim, a few steps from Sai Kaew Beach, The Ryad Rayong features accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking and a restaurant. Beautiful property that is right on the beach. Our room was very spacious with two bedrooms too. Dinner by the beach was lovely.

Set in Ko Samed, 500 metres from Ao Thian Beach, Horizon Resort offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very nice bungalow for the price.Far from busy places.We can recommend this place.We will book again.

Hidden away from the island's busier area and offering a private beach, Larissa Samed resort features comfortable rooms, a garden and free WiFi access. Great location, only 3 min from main beach. Good snorkeling just of the little beach by the hotel (only morning sun). Lots of corals, but not great visibility. If you like snorkeling, go when tide is low. Really quiet and nice view, especially if you’re in one of the cabins closer to the sea (we were in number 10, but ask for number 8 if you want the cabin closest to the sea with the nicest view. Number 1 and 2 (I think it was) are attached).

Comfortable rooms with air conditioning are provided at Green Bay Samed Resort. Located 50 metre from Haad Sai Kaew Beach, it offers a tour desk and free Wi-Fi access, which is available throughout. Excellent location, clean rooms and lovely pool area. Breakfast was great - changed a little each day and suited Thai or Western tastes. Act, the manager, maitre d’, receptionist and organiser of anything you wanted to do, was a whirlwind around the place. She was fantastic and so were her staff! Amazing lady and a cracking little place to stay. Would recommend highly.

Koh Munnork Private Island offers free WiFi in public areas. The property features a swimming pool. Free public parking is possible in a nearby location. We loved everything. The staff is very nice and the island is just beautiful. Don't hesitate to book, you won't regret. The water is crystal clear, you can spend hours snorkeling above beautiful corals just few meters from the coast, borrow a kayak and go to empty beaches.. . Can't wait to be back!
