Situated on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Sterkstroom River, this luxury lodge features suites with private terraces and plunge pools surrounded by the indigenous bushveld. Let`s start with the reserve. Welgevonden is a piece of paradise. Hills, mountains, rivers, plains. From most viewing points you don`t see any signs of civilization. Very clean air, no light pollution, no poaching. The animals are relaxed, rhinos still have a horn, elephants are happily plunging in rivers. Relax and enjoy. The lodge: Fantastic views, very nice public spaces (bar, viewing points, pool...) and spacious, clean and lovely suites. Outstanding however, was the performance of kitchen and service ! We have been to many lodges (also very expensive ones) and the service staff and quality of food was nowwhere as good as at Cifftop lodge. Skilled, competent, friendly, laughing a lot. The dishes were great. I had my best gnocchis (homemade of course) ever. There is always something new to discover on the menu, for example very interesting and tasty combinations with biltong. Each evening you were seated a different table with different views and ambiente. Together with the quality of food and service, dinner always was a highlight of the day (beside the gamedrives of course) and always made you curious of what to expect (but no disappointments at all,of course). And the coffee (high end portafilter coffee machine) was the best in a lodge ever, and................you won`t believe it.... there is two types of draught beer !!! Clifftop offers otstanding value for money! Thanks to everyone and please keep this standard

Just about an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, we had a wonderful stay at Out of Africa. My Wife and I visited this lodge for our 5 year anniversary. If you book in advance, you can enjoy a fine dining experience on a Rovos Rail train carriage that's on the property. The hosts Monique and Ludger went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this lodge if you want to escape the busy city life for a nice and relaxing holiday.

We had a great stay, very much in nature and the fly fishing was awesome. Caught a couple of decent sized trout. Lots of space to walk around or go for a jog through the gardens. Will visit again!!

Together Lifestyle Resort mempunyai taman, teres, bar dan kemudahan sukan air di Malamulele. Friendly staff, they are very patient when teaching you the quad bikes. Loved the paint ball and jumping pillow. Value for money service. I wish we had booked for the whole week so that we can get to do more activities.
