They were so kind to our young children and nothing was too much for them. They went above and beyond. The activity team boys were super friendly and energetic. They were always thinking of fun things for our family and taking the weather into consideration. The chef is out of this world - all the meals were incredible and the menu was different every evening. The rooms/houses/clubhouse/outdoors/everywhere !!…sooo nicely decorated and put together. We really didn’t want to leave and will absolutely come back every year! With or without children!

Nastanitev De Hoop Collection - Campsite Rondawels se nahaja v mestu De Hoop Nature Reserve in ponuja zunanji bazen, skupni prostor za druženje, bar ter teniško igrišče. Walking out amongst the zebra, eland, ostriches and bontebok with no restrictions is awesome and great sightings of several baboon troops, mongoose, giant tortoise and small buck and the Vulture Sighting trip is awesome. The food was excellent and we picked up some great meat on-route to braai on one evening and the braai is excellent and not a bad idea to collect up dead wood and turn it into a fire pit afterwards. Getting up early for the 25 min (have to go slow for animals that bolt across road) drive to beach parking at Koppie Alleen where there is small beach cafe/restaurant for sun up (7.10am) when we were there is perfect as is deserted. We aimed for an hour before low tide to walk turning left from the cafe on Day 1 as with tide out all rock pools are easily accessible with beautiful star fish, anemones, sea life in them so we walked the low tide line then came back via the cliff beach trail all before the sun was at heat so getting bak to Bites Cafe for about 11am for an early lunch. The next day we went to Bites and turned right again low tide and walked over the Dunes higher up the beach for a great bit of exercise for an hour and then back along the low tide line for a different walk back to Bites cafe. Three nights was the perfect length of stay.

Beautiful location in the heart of De Hoop Nature Reserve. Nature lovers will love it. Cape eland, Cape mountain zebras, bontebok, Cape grysbok, grey rehbok are unmistakable. Knysna woodpecker is around the cottages.... The beach at Koppie Allen is very nice (great dolphins patrol) The local restaurant was delicious.

Nastanitev De Hoop Collection - Opstal Houses je v mestu De Hoop Nature Reserve in ima zunanji bazen, bar ter teniško igrišče, na voljo pa je tudi brezplačen WiFi. This was a lovely place to visit. The restaurant was excellent, with very nice staff and delicious food. Our three bedroom house was spacious and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed seeing the animals roving the grounds, saw many whales from the dunes.

Loved the rural, quiet scenery with massive dunes, river outlook, excellent food, great service and the family of Mountain Zebras (and Ostriches) near our room. Exceptional restaurant menu.
