Breakfast was less than average and we had to wait for too long queue, I know there is a constructions work but still this is not an excuse for a 5 star chain!!

The room was by far comfortable , and clean and I love the design of it. Also I liked the walk-in bathroom as well as the balcony.

There was something uncomfortable about the room at night with the lights on. I don’t know if it’s the lights themselves or having one wall painted in dark blue which gave that strange ambience

If I was being picky the bathrooms were a little outdated with some light rusting on the shower fixtures. Whilst in the pool both my son and another child he was playing with cut their toes on loose/cracked pool tiles. But neither of these things significantly impacted our fantastic stay!

It was a beautiful hotel and stay. The staff were so friendly, great service from check in, to breakfast, housekeeping to the pool staff. The room was stocked with fresh bottles of water daily and we had complimentary macaroons delivered, which were a lovely touch. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with lots of options for both myself and my 6 year old son. We ate in the Seagrill restaurant a couple of nights and it was fantastic and very reasonably priced. It was a great location, taxis were always easily accessible and a great mall 5-10 min walk away, with good family friendly options for restaurants and shops. We also used the free bus service to Dubai Mall which was great. I felt extremely safe and comfortable during my 5 night stay. We would absolutely choose to stay again.

The property is old and the carpets had that bad old smell. But the hotel is clean in general

I found the breakfast to be quite expensive and I didn’t realise I could use my Accor loyalty membership which would have discounted the price It would have been nice to get a map of the hotel to know where all of the pools were etc

The staff was very helpful and friendly The hotel was very clean and modern The beds were comfortable There was a business center which was helpful There is a full gym and it had everything you could need - loved the gym Beach access was very convenient

The pools were crowded, but it was too hot to be in the private beach and it seems there is one more pool area that was under maintenance. Although it has a pub and a cigar bar, the hotel would benefit from a good lively bar.

First words for the incredible staff, super friendly, ultra professional, they make the difference; Gilbert in the Gold Lounge was the best example of how people should be in a hotel. Location is great by the beach. Room is very spacious and very comfortable perfect for a relaxed stay. Breakfast is very good but not luxurious.

Unfortunately it was a little dusty when we came in which caused my wife hay-fever. Thankfully, the staff were wonderful and ensured to vacuum, dust and clean the property. Also, the bedsheets and pillow had an unpleasant moist/damp like smell. Again the staff were very helpful and promptly changed the beddings, however maybe because of the humidity/local sea the smell just wouldn’t go away.

The property was in a lovely location, fantastic views and amazing facilities.

The receptionist Priya that assisted me and my family was so kind, clear and explained things to us perfectly. She was warm and welcoming towards us and gave us a good experience . Sawaran at the sea grill restaurant was also friendly, patient with our toddler and jus amazing service from her as well

There was refurbishments going on for the breakfast area and it appeared to be in a tent. It was quite difficult to navigate around the facilities.
