    We loved everything.

Everything was perfect! The location is great, the facilities are amazing and the staff was fantastic. The restaurant is amazing. The pool was open until 21:00 which was perfect since we visited Iguazu during a heat wave. Will definitely come back.

What we really enjoyed about the property it’s location, beautiful place situated among the jungle. Was just a experience, as well as the distribution of its cabins.

The bath tub wasn’t working, I reported the reception but never got an answer and they didn’t fix it. It wasn’t offered me another room neither money back. Kinda sad. Still waiting on an answer from the manager and supervisor, but they never reply even though I kept asking. Kind of unprofessional behavior.

The location was good and the style as well

The only thing they could improve slightly is breakfast. The first morning there were vegetables and eggs etc but the second morning was mainly sweet items and some basic other items.

Being in the jungle with wildlife such as birds. The restaurant was amazing quality and value. The beds were so comfy. The staff assisted us every time we needed help.

It’s not as isolated as I wished, we could see and hear the parking lot behind the trees from our balcony. The hammock is tiny and uncomfortable. No one was at the reception when we went to get our luggage.

Beautiful hotel, with large, well appointed rooms in a jungle(ish) setting. We got a room with a huge jacuzzi, which was quite relaxing. Adequate breakfast and helpful staff.

It is possible that if it rains, walking the paths to the rooms might be complicated, however no rain for us

Excellent mix of cabin style with modern features. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Quick 5 minute cab ride to downtown.

Staff was rude when we first arrived. They implemented a lot of weird rules as well. The actual room was clean “ish” but wasn’t to the expectations you would expect for the price.

It was in between both locations me and my spouse wanted to visit. With a little walking it was convenient.

Amazing staff! Awful mold and dampness in our room!

The room was simply awful in the meaning of smell! Dampness (mold) and humidity. I started coughing during the night and in the morning already I had cough and irritated throat. It was better outside than inside. I have to mention: outside it wasn't humidity....so no excuses for the property. And the smell of dampness got even in our clothes after 1 night there. I wouldn't stay again there; a place to get mold. Otherwise the rooms were clean! But a big NO for enjoying a space in such a contaminated room.

Reception staff and all the other persons working there: respectful, helpful and very polite! The location is simply amazing; sleeping in the jungle and having facilities around also. The food is very good!

Nothing! I have been to Iguazú five times now, and always choose Aldea de la Selva. It never disappoints.

We love the jungle atmosphere, wood construction, and nature-inspired decor. All the reception and dining staff are a joy. The Misiones climate is a challenge, but Aldea de la Selva has everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible, from umbrellas and fans to coolers and dryers.

We were not told the water isn’t potable. I brushed my teeth and was not pleased to learn the reality of the water. After traveling for three months in South America we had become accustomed to hotels using signs to warn guests. As an eco property, we were surprised to learn they sell small bottles of water to guests to use. All other properties we’ve stayed at provided filter water in pitchers you could refill rather than using lots of small plastic bottles that harm the earth. One hotel even gave us metal water bottles to encourage guests to not use plastic. Finally, we enjoyed the fresh fruit pastries provided for breakfast but the warm dishes like eggs seemed to be made from powder eggs and sausages from cans. Communication is poor as to services available. I had laundry to have serviced but was told it takes 24 hours. My husband put two pieces in a tray and they were done by evening. Small services impact travers on long distance trips.

We enjoyed the lodge setting in the jungle. The rooms were well spaced so we had a private deck we could enjoy each day. The layout of the property is very nice and the pool is beautiful. Guests need to be aware that transportation is needed to access town, Iguazú falls, and other outdoor activities.

hotel quiet old, decoration is to old abs looks like it wasn’t renovated since 80s, personal in the restaraunt very rude, one of our group have a stomach disaster and we asked for the food from kinds menu, cause it’s liter, but waiter starts laughing in our faces and telling us I don’t see that you are 10 years old, her behavior was disgusting during the our whole experience with this hotel, the other thing administrator didn’t told us the breakfast time and we were late for a breakfast and they told us it’s our problem, for my opinion it’s not a service in 4 star hotel, and also important thing if you pay in ARS they will add 21% to your bill, better to find the other hotel in this area, there is many of theme

it’s not that far from Iguazú park, that’s it

    unresponsive staff.

The hotel was fine. it’s expensive for what it is (but most of Iguazu is). The breakfast was pretty good. We had dinner there on one night and it was OK (but better than some negative reviews we had seen). Only disappointing was the staff weren’t so responsive, for example we asked 3 times for a taxi to be booked to the airport and on the morning of it wasn’t booked. also our key cards kept not working for the room. also they didn’t respond to any of my queries on booking.com ahead of our stay.

A female receptionist came into our room at 6 am without knocking at the door ?! Left quickly when I stood up and when we called the reception to ask her why she would do that she blamed the cleaning lady.

Amazing cozy and clean location, in the jungle but close to the mainroad, without car noises. Peaceful Place.
