Very noisy Men’s toilets often blocked and need regular cleaning. Extra fridge space needed.

Budget private room was clean. Very affortable. Perfect location for city transport, nightlife, restaurants & entertainment. Kitchen very narrow but well equipped.

It had beautiful old wooden floors which looked gorgeous, but made so much noise when you walked on them. I was so anxious about disturbing other guests haha. Also my window was broken and couldn’t be shut, leaving it to open by itself and leave my room very cold and let in more noise from the street.

It had dead-bolt locking doors and single rooms available. Despite being a hostel, I felt pretty safe.

We didn't had a window in the room but just a little opening on the door that led to the hallway. It was extremely loud and you could hear everything that happened outside of our room. But the worst thing of our stay were the bathrooms. They were super dirty and probably not cleaned once in 3 days. The kitchen was ok but pretty poorly equipped. Fridges and shelves completely full.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The property has a lift which is great to get luggage to the room.

The bed is good. But the booking system isn't accurate, since I booked 4 bed room, but later on I got 6 bed room. The price isn't the same as website shows as well.

Room had no windows and was very tight for space, kitchen was dirty and music was was so loud every night, floors creak very loudly outside the rooms which kept us awake most nights. Not ideal if you’re working early mornings.

An error was found that would have blocked me from all hostels in WA. Thankfully i have a positive relationship with gm and most staff and was allowed fo extend. Would have been an absolute nightmare if not discovered. Other staff assured was an error but this could have affected returning to my working hostel down south upon arriving back there.

Really positive experience with guests and place. Best GM of a hostel i have encountered after managing a hostel myself in the same suburb prior to covid and our closure. Backpackers seem genuienly happy and the culture of the place is ideal for travellers. Wow really! Actually nice to see the needs of the backpackers met so well for such a good price

The kitchen is very dirty, the dishes are left without washing. The double decker in my room is shacking, it’s going to fall , I dare not sleep on upper bed. The bed should be change for the safety of the guests

People staying there are very friendly. If you're solo traveler, you can make many friends there! Bathrooms are clean, 6-dorm was spacious, the kitchen was messy but I don't mind:) I was happy to stay the hostel and will definitely stay there next time if I come to Perth. Thanks!!

foot stink in my room ( maybe a Better conditioning could help?). the beds guys. maybe you should think of changing some bed structures. when something Is low quality there is not so much to do

I booked a private room because I wanted to rest before a long flight and I couldn't sleep because of the music, until 11 p.m. the music was so loud that you could hear it in the whole hostel. And until midnight there was noise in general. I don't recommend it if your idea is to rest.

I don't like the smell of Marijuana smoke in the outdoor communal area.

Location is 10/10. You feel like you are a part of the environment at Britannia on William. The ventilation and cooling is perfect for this time of year.

Property was incredibly loud until very late at night, music blaring and people shouting around until around 3am, no sign of staff telling them to stop despite signage saying no noise after midnight. Rooms were incredibly hot, fans might as well have not existed. Beds were uncomfortable and some were even unsafe to access (top bunks).

In a great location, central to Perth trains and buses to get pretty much anywhere! Tons of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.

Run down, dirty, terrible kitchen. Lots of dodgy stuff long stay people workers or whatever. Stored my food twice in the fridge, marked it and both times it was gone in the morning.
