The staff were so dear to me, I became good friends and it was hard for me to leave them. Every evening the staff and the guests hang out in the living room. It’s easy to become friends with the other guests too and do things together in the city.

As a solo backpacker, quite honestly nothing to complain about.

Great location near the metro and within a short walk to the old town. The owner was incredibly friendly and provided a good breakfast. Room was clean, simple and comfortable. Would recommend to fellow travellers!

The only downside is accessing the property via staircase as it’s at 4th floor and at times it gets exhausting with luggage.

One of the most affordable properties in Baku. It is located right in the city center alongside Nizami Metro Station.. Every major place is easily accessible on foot as well as via Metro Train and bus. Ilshan is a super host and takes care of you like family. The breakfast has been top notch every day with free coffee and snacks in the common area whenever you want.

Walls are from paper - every little noise can be heard. Shared bathrooms were not exactly messy, but if u dwell on hygiene, you wont have a great time using them.

Friendly staff, you get your own room, limitless tea, great breakfast.

I stayed in this hostel for 15 days and loved my experience. The owners could not have been nicer or more welcoming, the breakfasts were delicious (and big!) each morning, great Wifi, an opportunity to do laundry, and fantastic location (right next to a metro stop and easy to walk to other parts of the city). I recommend this hostel to other travellers and hope to visit again soon!

The hostel was great. I've never seen a hostel with free food—but there it was, simple snacks but also fresh fruit just sitting around. Free tea and coffee. I had a private room that came with a desk, which I appreciated. I also want to note that the wifi was, for a hostel, noticeably fast. I was able to stream an entire football match.

First of all, of course, it is the staff. Very friendly and attentive people. I arrived late, all the banks were closed and the owners even lent me local money:0).Thank you very much! Very good location. Metro across the street, The Old Town is a 10-minute walk away. Excellent nutritious breakfasts. Tea, coffee, snacks, fruits are freely available for guests. I think that in terms of price / quality ratio, the best place in this class of accommodation in Baku.

It was a little Cold, but nothing too bad. I forgot to ask for a blanket, so it is my faught.

The host was super nice. I had to leave early so he even made me breakfast earlier. He washed my vlothes for free too. The hotel is 1 minute away from the city metro. So it is very easy to acces the attractions of the city. The room was spacious anf clean.

My stay at Cth-Baku-Hostel was definitely one of the most memorable memories in Baku. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and even invited us multiple times for dinner. We even had their phone numbers and could reach out anytime if we needed help. Their exchange rate was better than most tellers we could find too. Definitely recommend a stay if you are looking for an exciting time in Baku.

Excellent location, just 15-20 mins from the Old Town. Very flexible check-in and check-out time (thank you!!!). Nice breakfast served any time you prefer, which is really very convenient. The staff and the owner are so nice and always ready to help, but I guess it is just natural trait of all Baku people :-)

Staff were very friendly. There are always coffee/tea waiting in the lobby area. Room was larger than I expected. Room was cool enough when windows are open. Location was also very great, walking distance from Nizami m/s and the bus stop to the old city.

I arrived at the hostel at 06AM and the manager gave me the room and they kept my luggage during almost 3 days when I visited Nakchivan. They arranged a car to the airport for 25 manat. Free tea, coffe and sweets all day long. Situation at 100 meters of metro station. Clean. Good breakfast. Staff is extremeny kind.
