The bed was not comfortable - old and thin matrice. There was some type of celebration in the restaurant which went on long past 0100 in the morning. The floor is worn out and does not look particularly clean. The doors are quite thin, so you can hear people passing by during the night.

The fact that booking made me pay 20lv more for the same room. There was no handle on the bathroom door. The thing that needed to hold the shower head was broken and you needed to hold it with your hand all the time.

The spa and swimming pool were all closed. No shower cabin meant the bathroom floor would get all wet.

The carpets were filthy, however. They had been hovered diligently, but clearly hadn't been washed in years. There were stains everywhere and unless I kept the window open, the smell filled the room. They need a good pressure wash - it looked nothing like the pictures. I was in two different rooms during my stay and in both, the fan in the bathroom wasn't working. As a result, the window needed to stay open to air out, otherwise the smell of humidity was overwhelming. Even then, the smell didn't fully dissipate, and I found myself using the AC with the window open, to combat both smell and heat, which was frustrating and could have been avoided.

The location of the hotel is brilliant and staff were all very polite and helpful. The cleaning team did a fantastic job in the room before I moved in. The bed was comfortable and there was AC in the room which was highly needed.

There was loud music from the club below the hotel which was shaking the bed from the bass. The furniture was falling apart. The breakfast was very limited and basic. We were supposed to have spa, but noone informed us that it was not working. The water wasn't hot enough in the morning.

Breakfast was terrible. Came in around 8 and there was'nt any bread??! Also a lot of noise in the evening. party nextdoor. Some guy also knocked on our door the whole night... tried to call the reception but they did not answer.. felt pretty unsafe. aouldnt stay here again

Dilapidated equipment in the room with bad smell stemming from the carpets, dripping shower, smell could not be rectified and was also in the room offered as replacement. Refurbishment is absolutely necessary!

Personnel did the best they could considering the bad hardware; dinner had excellent service quality.

Very noisy late in the night and early morning, cleanliness was poor, you need to call housekeeping to clean your room and the pool was closed. Kids area is available only during weekend.

The air conditioner was not working and we were "lucky" enough to stay there during some of the coldest days of the winter. On the second day, they provided us with a radiator, but it was too small to warm the entire room so in the evening we asked for a second one. On the third night, we finally reached some normal temperature.

Great location. Underground parking. Nice Staff. The room was quite spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. The view from the room was amazing!

The suite was not to call a suite.. the bathroom was very poor, Leaking bathtub, the cabinet was hanging lose. The staff couldn’t even bring a smile on the face or speak English.. Also one of the waiters is very rude, only the receptioniste was able to smile. I would definitely not recommend.. Should have made photo’s of how bad the room was. Lucky that I only stayed a weekend, if I stayed longer I would have gone to another hotel.

The fountain in front of it is very nice, also that there is shops around easily to get there. But the property itself was very poor and not a nice stay.

The bathroom 1.5 x1.5 sqm, with the shower faucet right near the wc, without courtain or glass pannel. The strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. The room was max 15 sqm, not like in the description 24 if I well remember.

Hotel is in centre of city, in pedestrian zone. We came late in night and all was prepared, nice man from security was waiting us. Room was clean and quiet. From sqaure is beautiful view on mountain.

Beds were so low to the ground. Needed help getting in and out of bed. Stayed in many hotels in Bulgaria, never had a bed like this one. I called reception to ask if they had rooms with higher beds, was told I had executive room and all beds were the same. Wifi was not great. I had an important zoom call and it couldn't handle it at all. Lost connection and call. No shower gel in bathroom. Breakfast is buffet style. First mouthful of scrambled egg had long hair in it. I didn't eat anymore. Disgusting! Pool closes at 8pm and doesn't open again until 11am, so no morning swim available. Quite a few stairs to and from underground car park. Local church next to hotel has its bells ringing every 30 mins, day and night.

It's a central location. Lovely water feature in the town square. Close to many bars. Very nice town. Big room. Air con worked well. Room was clean. Staff were helpful, friendly. Blackout curtains. Parking available. Extra 3 leva charge. 2-3 English speaking channels on tv.

Dirty hotel renovated in 1980...smells like gasoline on the hallway and bad bacteria from AC combined with cigarettes in the room. Too bad for the location -avoid.

Being on the top floor with constant sun exposure throughout the day the A/C unit was not sufficient to even slightly cool down the room. The A/C unit needs upgrade. To be fair we were visiting in the hotest months of the year (July/August). Also there was an issue with some noise till late at night from a bar across the street.

Our double room was amazing, very large bed (bigger than king size), dark-out curtains, great WiFi, AMAZING VIEW, very large bath tub, very clean, a lot of space, great overall. Right in the heart and city center of Vratza. Underground 24 security parking. Basic breakfast available in the hotel restaurant for a small charge. Great coffee ☕
