The location is not that convenient if you're not moving in a private vehicle and there is not much to do around. At least for me that I only have the night to enjoy a place since I work the whole day.

The co-working space is comfortable. The staff is kind and helpful. Is quiet and beautiful and you have some trekkings to do nearby.

The cleanliness of bathrooms could be improved, but it's not terrible.

The staff are all really friendly and it was nice to meet people. The hostel is pretty social and ideal for a digital nomad who needs a quiet place to work but also has a very social atmosphere in the evenings. I think for the price point it is a good value

There are no bicyles nor stand-up paddle boards available (eventhough stated in the description of this hostel) and the breakfast could use a serious upgrade.

I love the vibe of this hostel! Everyone is relaxed and chill and the location invites you to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Really chill quite place, people were great, showers were hot with good water pressure, and the ac was fantastically frigid. When the canal comes from the sea you won't find clearer water or a more beautiful sunset. Would definitely return, would definitely recommend.

Although spaces were cleaned everyday it still felt a bit like nothing was ever properly clean and breakfast was very very basic toast, jam, fruit, coffee, yoghurt every day. It felt an expensive place for what you got, but equally it is high season and Florianópolis is beautiful.

Location is great, on the river, close to local shops and hiking trail to the quieter (and prettiest in my opinion) beach of Galheta. Hostel is well set up for coworking with desks and comfortable chairs both upstairs and downstairs and WiFi is excellent. Staff are extremely friendly, though it did feel like almost everyone was a volunteer and working and there were very few other “guests” The whole hostel is a communal space so it is very easy to meet people.

It’s the best to have a car or motorbike for the area!

Nano house is Perfect! The hostel itself also is very nice. You have relaxing areas and nice surrounding areas.

Hello, accessing the location by car is a bit tricky. The presence of a ramp also poses some challenges for Uber drivers to navigate. It would be helpful if the owners could improve the path by smoothing it out and filling the existing potholes.

Not much cutlery available in the kitchen. Only one bathroom for all (and one as part of a 4-bed dorm) is not enough. The location in terms of nature is great, hiwever, if you would like to take the bus, you need to walk 20 minutes to the stop. The other side of this little river would be better accessible. Mosquitoes like this climate, be aware...

- Hostel is a bit far from Barra da Lagoa centro (40 mins by walking) and most famous points, like Praia Mole. I had to take an Uber almost everywhere. - Due to a proximity of the river, the mosquitos were really annoying - Minor discrepancies between the description and reality: no bed curtains and a small amount of lockers, not in the room - Bathroom placed INSIDE the room is shared with people from the whole hostel.

The staff is more than a staff: they can be your friends and fellow travellers (obrigado Bru, Gu and others!), organising the trips and hangouts in Barra da Lagoa, cooking and working together, sharing amazing stories, helping in need and building connections❤️This and a comfortable co-working area with solid desks and WiFi speed are definitely the strongest points of Nômades. I also loved the termo com café! ☕ Also, the owner is a great guy who understood my points and behaved fair.

The location is a bit far if you don't have a car or other vehicle it can be harder to move (not impossible tho). I recommend creating another common toilet outside of the rooms. Maybe add nets on windows to try to control the mosquitos inside.

Great hostel! Fair price, great environment! Very familiar and comfortable, the staff makes you feel at home straight away. If you work remote it's definitely one of the best places to stay in Floripa. Great wifi, chairs and desks. The house also have good places for relax with hammocks and very comfortable sofas. Kitchen also very well equipped to cook.

It's a little weird that people (who are not staying in the same dorm) freely enter the room to use the bathroom. No lockers provided so it was not very comfortable as people were just walking in. Tons of mosquitoes so a mosquito net would be nice.

This hostel is inviting and was a delight to stay at. I was only there for two nights, but I was able to do laundry and join a guided walk through the woods to the beach. Everyone was kind.

Great place if you need to do some work but also want to enjoy the beautiful area around Floripa. The hostel is very safe and has lockers for you to put your laptop away. The wifi is great, I didn't have one single outing and there is plenty of space to spread out. The people are all super friendly and the dorms are a good size (4 instead of like 8+). There is a well stocked supermarket nearby and there are some very nice restaurants at walking distance. The beach is an 8 minute uber ride and yes they do pick you up from there!

it was a bit far from everything else and the walk is fairly hilly. our room only had one fan which only reached the bottom bunk which meant our nights were really hot.

The common space was really comfortable and the internet was very strong. The staff were very kind and made us a delicious breakfast every morning. Good feeling of community. Super close to the trailhead to Praia Galheta
