There was a lot of bugs :( so the door had to stay close. However, because there's no AC it can get hot.

My room was amazing - there was a wonderful view over Sao Paulo from the balcony, and the bathroom was stunning. Breakfast was delicious, and served in the lovely covered garden area. Location is excellent and the street was quiet.

The Pousada is in a large historic home that is in need of repairs. We never had any issues per se, but a facelift of the beautiful old house is in order. We also felt that the common area inside the house was a bit sterile and not very comfortable to hang out. A more "living room" feel would have made it more comfortable for relaxing in the evenings.

Pousada Zilah is an oasis in the big city. It's on a quiet street surrounded by trees and flowers. We loved the full breakfast and the comfortable bed. We chose a room with a large terrace which served as a nice relaxing spot after a long day of exploring the city.

Just phenomenal. There are so many things amazing about this B&B - the beautiful garden where you are served delicious breakfast made by the host, the gorgeous views from the room, the cute plants in the bathroom, and of course the most welcome and kind host ever!! Definitely a must repeat in San Paulo.

The house is quite old and might need some repairs here and there, but nothing serious. It all makes for a good atmosphere after all.

A great stay in every way. I loved especially eating my most excellent breakfast (homemade yogurt and homemade bread!) on the second floor balcony with a fantastic, expansive view of the city. Lucia makes excellent coffee by the way. The room was excellent and the bed very comfy. I slept very well. There is also a large garden on the first floor with many plants and even a pond with Koi fish swimming around. This is a sweet place to stay.

The location is perfect for exploring Sao Paulo and at a very reasonable price. It is only a few minutes walk from paulista metro station. The balcony in our room is fantastic and gives an amazing view of the city especially at night. The decor is very beautiful, rustic and homely and the garden in the bathroom is very original. Breakfast was very good and the host Lucia was very kind and helpful.

The location was perfect, central yet safe and quiet. The breakfast was amazing, best in Brazil! Great calm open spaces to relax in garden. Good restaurants nearby. We were also granted a late checkout as we had a late flight. Pousada Zilah is a true gem!
