The boat cruise was more than I expected, especially seeing the crocodiles. The reception was great. Room service was good. The owner is kind and welcoming.

Mike, the owner, is THE best host ever!!! He and his staff, especially Winnie, went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. We got flu during our stay, and they really tried to help any possible way they could. It was actually very sweet of them And it was really the best breakfast !!!!!

It’s very close to Gaborone & just off the tarred road. One didn’t have to drive on a gravel road. The facilities are very good & still in excellent condition. Very friendly staff & owner!

Everything was perfect

The location was wonderful, the view out over the river amazing. Incredible diversity of birdlife and crocodiles. Breakfast served on the deck overlooking everything was great. Same with all the other food we tried there, especially the beef tacos. I would definitely recommend the boat cruise, knowledgeable crew as well. My whole family had a wonderful time, and my youngest children didn't want to leave. All the staff were helpful and full of smiles, and our host, Mike, has written some interesting books about Croc Pools (I didn't know about the Battle of Croc Pools during the Boer War), Botswana and Diamonds. I have already decided to book there for the weekend of my birthday this year.

Their service at the restaurant was very slow, they can do better. Their standard rooms are also very small, and the bathroom space is so restrictive.

The spectacular view of the Notwane River and the distant hills from the Bushman restaurant terrace were so soothing and therapeutic. The rooms looked very clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower felt like you were bathing under a splashing waterfall.

We got lost they must remove one of the posters on the road which gives wrong directions.

The place is very clean and the welcome from the host was superb. Mike the owner is a very good host. We enjoyed our stay, meals and drinks.

The staff just put the mattress on the ground for the kid and did not prepare it well , other than that it was an excellent night. The only other bad thing was the weather since it is too hot we didn't get a chance to really enjoy the places activity like boot cruises etc as the water levels where too low..

The fact that I didn’t see the crocodiles but it was understandable why.

I liked specifically the location of the property. It is well situated, not too far yet not too close to Gaborone. It is very easy to connect with activities nearby. The boat cruise by far was the most thing I enjoyed in the whole Botswana. The owner Mike is such an incredible person. Very nurturing and welcoming. He catered to our every need and we felt like family.
