Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaI can tell the staff are overworked, they go above and beyond if you are patient, perhaps very minimal staff is the reason they come off rude, but from experience they seemed stressed. I can tolerate most conditions. As for others, who aren’t very accepting of unplanned events, it could go south very quickly.
Variety for continental breakfast, shuttle service when planned and called for terminal 1 & 3.

CanadaI asked that my ICE be put in freezer. I needed it for my medication. She put in the fridge. I was NOT happy. How could someone not know the difference between fridge and freezer? I had through out my insuline and buy more at the pharmacy in the Dominican Republic.
Sorry we left at 6:30 with shuttle so we missed breakfast.

CanadaUpon arrival no one was at the desk to check us in. There was no accessible back entrance and after having to park in the back that was a inconvenience walking all the way around with our luggage. There was no microwave in the room and the water pressure for the shower and faucet was extremely low.
The facility was clean and the room spacious.

CanadaWhen I called for the shuttle from the airport I was told the shuttle stopped at 11:30 pm and it was shortly after. I was upset as the listing said there was a shuttle. I called back a second time and was told a shuttle was coming. It turns out other people were waiting for it... I had sent a request for a late shuttle when I booked and did not get an email response until after I had checked out of the hotel this morning telling me there was no shuttle after 11:30 pm. This is unacceptable. The desk clerk told me it was written in the fine print on the Booking. Com website. I never found this small print he was referring to.

CanadaParking!! We were there on a busy weekend, but when you pay about $200 a night for a room, you would like to at least have a spot to park. I had to make my own parking spot and worry about whether or not my car would be towed. And heaven forbid there be a fire...lots of people were parked in the area for fire trucks...on the sidewalk in front of the hotel and everything. Needs more parking...
The hotel was clean and pleasant. A microwave in the room would be nice, but there was a communal one to use. Breakfast in the morning was good, could use some variation though.

CanadaThe breakfast was cold each morning so we opted for muffins and juices, and the shower got water all over the floor because the glass wall doesn't cover the whole opening. The staff could have been friendly, they were not very welcoming upon check in and check out and did not smile.
The bed was so comfy, the room was spacious and the lighting was nice. The bus stop just across the street was convenient, we used that to get to a go station to take the train into the city each day.

PolandThe floor wasn't vacuumed. There was a lid from a cup with a staw between the bed and night table. It was a Thanksgiving day, so it was a holiday. All areas: goods and services work in holiday mode and people live in holiday mode at this day but not the hotel restaurant. I was hoping to have breakfast according to holiday schedule, but they left me hungry.
Calm, silent and warm place. Felt relaxed. Clean linens and towels. Clean bathroom.
