How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Everything was fine

Lady ran over our cord, but the hotel replaced it. Also didn't clean our room when we were there.

Not to be mistaken for unsafe, but the location is quite industrial and frankly the people out in the area are shocking. I wasn't expecting Brampton to be downtown, but I still found it borderline unsettling visiting the local Walmart. Complimentary breakfast is practically nothing. If you want to eat, regular breakfast is $8. Upon check-in, I noticed they did not honour the price of my reservation on Booking.com. They charged me $12 extra which isn't much. Still though, I looked for any additional tourist tax or anything in the recepit, but no, they just ignored the rate I was given on Booking.com. As it was late in the night and $12 is not even a sandwich where I live, I decided to let this go.
We decided to stay in Brampton to save money as we were landing past midnight anyway and renting a car. In that regard, this hotel delivered. The room was more than adequate and clean.

The all included breakfast wasn’t was I was anticipating . Let’s call it an ultra light breakfast .
Very nice hotel , comfortable and not too far from Pearson international airport .

The toilet kept shifting, not sure if it was loose or broken and toilet paper totally in a behind position is hard to reach when sitting...breakfast included advertising should mention that an upgrade of $8 is required if you want something warm like eggs or pancakes...we showed up with no money thinking it was all included.
All that was mentioned in the survey and being that my car was stolen at a different Brampton hotel, it was nice to be able to see my car out the window here!

Breakfast was included in the price. the room was clean and spacious and the bed was well made with lots of pillows. Overall I enjoyed my stay even though it was just for one night.

No diabetic friendly choices for breakfast, pillows were hard tgere needs to be one softer one on the bed.
Good location great staff clean quiet free parking free breakfast, we didnt try the restaraunt for supper but we will next time

Being charged an extra $150 dollars for a deposit that was never mentioned when booking. I booked it as it was one of the more affordable hotels near ish the airport. I then get there and had to fork out an extra $150. I dont know what my 10 hour stay would warrant that kind of "deposit" even though I had already paid for my room days before. I didnt have it so had to put it on my credit card and then received charges for that as well as I'm not from Canada.

The only thing we didn't like and would make the same comment about most hotels is the carpeting..we are not fans of carpeting in any hotel room.
Good value for the money. Bonus was having a small restaurant on site. We were tired and leaving early the next morning so didn't feel like going out as we had an early flight the next morning.

All good except receptionist did not go a step a way to help out!!!. Little tiring after a long trip and stayed there from cold snap because out flight was delayed 2 days . In total, just what people care are money. There is not compassion even from receptionist. Everithing for money.!!! Not good

There was a draft from the window making the room very cold and when we turned on the heater it was insanely loud.
The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of pillows provided which was nice.

Breakfast was really bad. Just bread and cereal is not breakfast. Either offer full breakfast or don't. Need to improve on lighting. It's dark.
