Eyesore half built 4 storey structure where a previous fire destroyed a great space. Too bad they didn’t rebuild the same space but I stead have this ugly blight right on the water. I hope the town makes them tear it down.

Room was great - spacious, clean, great layout, bathroom great - wonderful shower and bath Boathouse restaurant - great food and service Wasn’t crowded when we went which was great.

We have planned to have a short trip to Muskoka in October to see all that wonderful colours. Unfortunately weather was not nice and all days were raining. Despite that we truly enjoyed staying in Taboo Muskoka, we had room with view right on the lake and basically lake was 2 metres from building. It was so nice,quiet and peaceful with only hearing waves on the water. That was exactly what we wanted and exceeded our expectations. We are planning to come back 100%

The birds make some noise in the roof and this noise can be heard during the night.

This is our first experience with this resort. We have say this is the best vacation we have in 2021 and our little one really enjoyed the trails and room. We will come back again for sure.

I would strongly recommend that the hallway carpets be cleaned.

Breakfast at the Boathouse was very disappointing and very expensive. I asked for multigrain toast and only one piece arrived which cost around $3.50 or $4.00. We realize that times have been very hard because of COVID, however, one piece of dry toast was not acceptable. We chose not to eat breakfast there again.

Enjoyed the Boathouse restaurant for dinner our first night. Excellent meal. Sunsets were fabulous. Loved the nature trail. Accommodation was very comfortable.

one idea is to have packages for longer stays because it could become very expensive

Location on the lake. Location close to Gravenhurst (biggish town close by if you need anything) a lot of activities available inside the resort, you might actually stay in and not ever leave for the whole duration of your stay (pools, tennis courts, water sports center, beach, etc.).

very bad service in the Boathouse restaurant. We went in for breakfast and could not be sitted due to lack of personell. We were told they will call us back as soon as they can sit us and we were never called. Ended up having to drive to Gravenhurst to get breakfast

I found the grounds overgrown and worn out, particularly pool area and docks.

Suite overlooking the water was breathtaking. Room was updated to modern decor and amenities.

They should have a good restaurant menu choices, so there guest will not go out and shopping around for all the restaurant and it’s too bad all the restaurant in the area are fully booked.

Paying for a cot every night. A couple of the Lounge chairs on the beach were broken The size of the pool/ beach towels Not having room cleaning and having to request shampoo, toilet paper, garbage removal, towels. ( covid I get it!)

Some of the arrangements were not quite logical ( e.g. why only one arm chair in the room?). The shower tap was not working properly. Generally, when coming from Europe it is hard to understand the price/ value ratio. For the same price per day we had a beautiful, luxurious room at Hotel Danieli in Venice.....

The Muskoka region is beautiful. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.

The balcony could have been better maintained. There was no coffee in the morning. Not all amenities could be utilized due to Covid, the price of the booking wasn't well reflected considering you cannot utilize some of the amenities/services.

The room was spacious, clean, and modern. The beach and pool and surrounding area were great for couples and young families.
