The accommodation was outstanding - fantastic rooms and bathrooms. Sonya is such a beautiful and accommodating host who went above and beyond for our group of 4 … breakfast was sensational and Sonya’s knowledge of the area and how to get around helped make our stay so enjoyable… we would definitely stay again and highly recommend for travelers wanting a more authentic experience.

Personally, we could not fault the facility.

Mine hosts Sonya and Stefan. A lovely couple who made us feel at home. A very friendly atmosphere in an enchanting home. Check in included maps and all information which made it easy to get around the sights. Public transport included via an app. Breakfast was magnificent, varied and presented beautifully. A better than generous space in a lovely home. One of the nicest places we have stayed and highly recommended.

Sonja was an excellent host providing exceptional food and advice. Wildrose is a fantastic Swiss experience, outstanding place to stay while in Bern. It is a must for all people traveling to Bern to experience. Great direction and just really enjoyable. It will always be remembered as one of the highlights of our European holiday. As bonus Sonja has excellent language skills suitable to guests from all countries.

All was perfect.

We had a wonderful experience at Wildrose. The house is beautiful, very clean with a lot of interesting antiques. Breakfast is healthy and delicious, prepared with great attention by the host. We received free bus tickets to explore Bern. Bus station is very close at 5 min walking and the city center is reachable in 10 min by bus. A very good location for exploring the city. We also received very good recommendation on what to visit, having only two days in Bern. I would love to come back. Many thanks for the wonderful stay that we had at Wildrose.

Sonya is one of the superheroes I know. He works hard to make everything perfect. An impeccable house furnished with antique pieces, breakfast prepared in a royal manner every morning, a consultant to you when planning your travels. We felt like a complete family in 2 days. I also had the opportunity to meet her husband and cats. We look forward to coming back soon and chatting with espresso on the back terrace.

Sonya couldn't have been more helpful with our stay, she helped us with clear instructions of how to arrive at the property and she is so well versed on Bern and was able to offer us a lot of advice to help us make the most of our trip! The breakfast was wonderful and the property is lovely and inviting. We couldn't recommend Sonya and her B&B enough!

the stay is too short!

I’m so glad that I’ve stayed with wild rose. Sonya is the most amazing host that not only provides a comfortable stay and delicious food, but also makes sure that you spend a great time in the city with all the helpful advices on places and restaurants. The breakfast is a feast, and you get almost everything homemade. The rooms are so spacious and beautifully decorated. Stella and phoebe are the most adorable cats. very easy to get to the old town by bus.

The hospitality, kindness and warm welcome and also the recommendations from Wild Rose host and hostess, Stefan and Sonya. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The Wild Rose hostess, Sonya, is a truly kind person who gives recommendations about Bern and Switzerland that you won’t find in any travel guide. The breakfast served by Sonya was one of the best and extensive breakfasts we got. All products are biological and served from the local farmer. You can feel everything is done with sincere effort to give you the best Bed & Breakfast experience you have ever had. It sounds to good to be true. The good thing is that this is all true! We will definitely go to Wild Rose again when visiting Bern.

This has to be the most perfect spot to stay in Bern. We stayed for three nights. Sonja is an amazing hostess and made my mom and I feel so comfortable and at home. Sonya is very friendly and willing to share about her experiences and knowledge regarding Bern. It is very informative and made our Bern Tour even more fruitful as we can appreciate the architectures and relate to the different aspects of Bern better. She also recommended many must-visit spots which we eventually included in our itinerary and suggested the route to take to visit these spots to fully enjoy Bern. The breakfast spread was sumptuous.

Our stay has been amazing, the house is beautiful and Sonya, the host, was super welcoming. The breakfasts were incredible, the house and the room were clean and very comfortable. We have the best time there and will definitely go back. We recommend Wild Rose either for a couple, family or solo traveling.

Sonya was so warm and helpful during our stay. They provide you with a transport ticket for your days which I found extremely useful. We got local tips on what to do, restaurants, etc. She even called for us to book a cheese tour for the day when we left. The breakfast is amazing and the two cats so cute!

The two-night stay at wild rose really exceeded our expectation, not only attributed to the bright and spacious room, eat-like-a-king breakfast etc but also to the hospitality of our hosts, Sonya gave us a very detailed guidance on walking around Bern and getting to know the history, it’s my 2nd time in Bern and the stay at wild rose is definitely one experience to highlight! Highly recommended!

The owners, Sonya and Stefan, are incredibly nice people. We felt completely at home in Wild Rose. We would return again if in the area of Bern. The breakfast was a choice of many things and most sufficient. Highly recommend this B&B you too will feel at home and you can learn things about the capital of Switzerland.
