Love the view from our patio, it is beside the Aare River. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to meet the hosts in person but our text exchanges were all very pleasant. Really enjoyed our stay there! Kitchen is very well equipped. Location is great too, just a short 5 minutes walk to Interlaken West Station Will definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Interlaken.

Location, location, location!!! City Chalet was within walking distance to all the things we wanted to do. Loved the sound of running water coming from the river.

The apartment was not so clean. I found some hair from the previous guests in the bathroom on floor. I think for this relative high price I wish there would be some salt/pepper or at least a very little bottle of shower gel.

Beautiful location, the view to the mountains and to the river are very pleasant. The staff is great.

You can only have one shower a day per person so I would not stay for longer than one night because it just doesn’t work out with going for hikes and sweating so much in summer.

The busses only came every 30 minutes and it's not even their fault

Best accomodation that i have stayed in. I've been to a few countries and I'm always on a tight budget so I've never been to such a luxurious room before. I would highly recommend it. - best beds - huge rooms - even provided a crib if needed - gave a lot more than I expected - had a washing machine and a clothes line - had a balcony facing the sea - fully equipped kitchen

The beds could have been better, but it is not a major concern. The luggage deposit is unattended in case one needs to keep it at the property before the check-in or after the checkout, so should plan accordingly.

Great location, pretty close to Interlaken Ost. The check-in was very convenient and neatly organized despite the fact there is no reception/front desk at the property. The property had nearly everything for a comfortable holiday, including a washing machine and a kitchen.

It is situated in a perfect location within a 5 minutes walking distance away from the Interlaken West railway station. A grocery shop is situated right next to the property's neighbourhood, while a Migros supermarket is just 5 minutes away. The outlook of the property is exquisite & gives you the Swiss homely feeling. The check-in process was smooth as we were directed right into our room by a warm welcoming note. All the instructions were nicely mentioned on a sheet placed inside the room. Free discounted passes for Interlaken were also provided. The 'Studio River' room is situated on the ground floor of the property, which is open to the fast-flowing Aare River through a side door. The room had ample space & it was clean. It was equipped with an electric cooker, a microwave oven, a refrigerator & a television. The room had adequate heating and we were able to adjust the level of heating. The bathroom had hot water, a washing machine (with Laundry Detergent) and towels. We were glad to see that they were strict on waste segregation and a separate segregation methodology was in place. The owner was communicating with us throughout and was welcoming.

1. Bed: The bed wasn't that comfortable and the pillows were too soft. We did ask the maid for 2 additional pillows but they were too soft also. Would be great if some hard pillows can be kept in the wardrobe so people can switch if they don't like soft ones. 2. Bathroom: Would have preferred to have some antibacterial wipes to clean the surfaces and also some toilet cleaner liquid for guests to use. As our stay was more than 1 night we definitely needed to use the cleaning products so we bought it from the store. 3. Upkeep: I'm a gardening freak so would have preferred to see the front and side lawns maintained a bit more regularly to control overgrowth. And it's pleasant to see too.

1. Apartment: The apartment is an extension to the main chalet and is made with wood that's pleasant to the touch. It's clean and has a kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom all separated. The car parking bay is right in front of the door so it's convenient when you have baggage. Unlike some chalet like accommodation I've been to, hot water and the other facilities were working very well here. 2. Management: Excellent comms from Matt in advance of our arrival. Instructions are in a leaflet in the kitchen and if you're using public transport, there's a city pass which you can use on buses, etc. 3. Facilities: The kitchenette had all the utensils we needed, bathroom had the washing machine which was a good addition as we had plenty of washing to do. 4. Location: Within the town with gorcery shops close by. Walking distance to Interlaken West and Harder Kulm funicular train.

Nothing much to complain really, it’s a historic building hence understandably old and creaky when you walk.

The location was superb, amenities were great too. We had ample resources to cook 2 separate meals for 8 pax.

Amazing location, amazing property, amazing hosts! Made our stay at Interlaken absolutely delightful, would definitely come here again! :) Located right near the Interlaken west station and on the bank of the river. Supermarkets close by, and kitchen well equipped.

Everything was amazing - the view, the location, the accommodation, the owners, everything. This stay exceeded our expectations and helped make our trip to Switzerland truly amazing. I would recommend this stay to anyone and everyone. We are looking forward to booking again very soon!
