The hotel itself is great. The beds are very comfortable and the service here is incredible! I never met such an incredible service personal in any other hotel. Very helpful, very friendly - the webiste is also very well made with additional data on where to go in Zurich and what to visit in Zurich. I would come back any time and I recommend this hotel. Also what is very nice is that the hotel has also a nice bar where you can go up until 22:00 if you are looking for a good conversation and good service - this is definitley recommended. :)

Towels where quite small to have a shower, and a couple of them had stains. Bedlinen were a bit scratchy. As a boutique hotel I expected a more modern bathroom, that could deserve a bit of restyle.

Breakfast was good with fresh salty dishes prepared on request at the moment. Receptionist very gentle and handsome. I was lucky in finding parking right in front of the entrance.

- The room was small and very dark, which was quite a big problem for us, but we used a lamp and pointed to the roof then that made room better for us, but this is a real problem in this hotel. - Digital Check-in was a bit confusing and problem, as we did not find anyone around and was look like we were on some empty place. - As reception was closed, so lift was closed, which was a problem for us when we reach to hotel, we have to carry luggage and baby cart with our own by stairs

The room needs more light and, not a real problem, the bathrooms a renovation. But overall is a good hotel.

Best Breakfast was not included but was worth every penny. Delicious, in a good ambiance, calm and quiet, with local and fresh products. The staff is lovely, amiable, and welcome. Recommended us a restaurant for dinner, it was amazing and with fantastic food. The hotel is not in the city center but Zurich is only 11 minutes by train. Exiting the city center was the best thing we have done, the landscape is beautiful, we can walk by night and hike by day. A supermarket is very close to the hotel and has all the facilities. Worth exiting the city center. If I ever repeat this trip I will come back to this hotel.

The hotel was overbooked due to some glitch in their web site. We did not stay in the hotel however we were there for awhile while waiting for another accommodation. The hotel is very clean and with a relaxed vibe. KJ the manager was very welcoming and very helpful. He even drove us to the next hotel and made sure everything was to our liking. He rocks and we really appreciate his kindness. You seldom see people go beyond their ways to help strangers. We would love to stay in his hotel next time we visit Zurich. If he treated us well even if we did not stay how much more if we are his guest in Kronenhof? I recommend Hotel Kronenhof anytime.

Bathrooms, carpets, facilities are old, outdated, depressing. Rooms are small for two people. The hotel located far from the center of Zurich and from the main station Zurich HB. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is next to a nightclub that plays loud music starting at 10.00pm, which means it's impossible to sleep, which means this isn't really a hotel. There was no air conditioning, just a little electric fan. The carpets are dirty and stained. There was no overhead light in the room, and no outlet in the bathroom. Although the website says 'free fast wi-fi', the wi-fi in my room did not work — which is false advertising. I was forced to cancel a series of important work appointments as I could not do my zoom calls. 'Breakfast' is coffee and a croissant for 16 CHF.. the room smelled strongly of mould and featured a view looking out onto a dirty alleyway. What can I say, this was easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I will not be returning.

No airconditioner, as room too hot and uncomfortable to sleep in due to the hot weather. I had to leave window open throughout my stay which then become too noisy due to it proximity to the road and the flies were coming in as a result of the open window

The Internet connection was not reliable. The water is permanently too hot. Reception closes for several hours during the day. There are multiple imperfections in the bathroom. No table.
