1. The initial reception experience at the hotel left much to be desired. The individual manning the reception desk seemed disinterested and provided minimal assistance during check-in, merely handing over the key without offering any welcoming gestures or information about the hotel. Throughout our stay, they appeared preoccupied with personal tasks, neglecting to acknowledge or greet passing guests. 2. I had raised a query through Booking.com regarding pick up drop facility and there wasn’t any response from the hotel side. By the time I happen to see their response, we had check out and later learned they had a free pick up and drop facility. To sum up, in spite of having such a wonderful hotel at the right location, the front end staff need to be more attentive and proactive to improve the guest experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which boasted excellent amenities and impeccable cleanliness. Its prime location added to the overall convenience of my visit. The restaurant staff were not only friendly but also exceptionally attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While the breakfast offered a satisfying spread, it remained consistent throughout my stay, adhering to a standard set menu each day. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment for its quality service and amenities.

Dinner menu a little dear.

We entered the hotel to be greeted by warmth- which was greatly appreciated as it was snowing outside. We were in room 303 overlooking the mountains in the historical area of the hotel. Reception and dining room also had high ceilings, beautiful corners and lights. Not sure if all the hotel is historic or not.

I stayed in the main building (there are 2) and it's an older style of building. The person above me when they walked around early in the morning and late at the night - the chandelier would shake and rattle every time. It would be good if a supermarket was closer walking distance but it's about a 10-15min walk.

The room was quite large and spacious. Beautiful large bathroom. The breakfast was great - there is literally everything you could think of with so many options it's hard to choose what to eat! All of the staff were super friendly.

Staff were friendly but when it came to dinner they were absent from the entire outside for 20 minutes - not looking for American service but was hard when we asked for additional wine and no one was there for awhile. The bar and bartender was great however. Breakfast was mediocre.

The location is great, just 5 min from Interlaken Ost. The staff very nice, especially the lady at the reception, very sweet and helpful. Our room was very spacious, modern and very clean. Spacious and super modern bathroom. A pity that we didn’t stay longer… but we’ll come back🙂

No iron is provided in the room. You have to go down to a room downstairs in the hotel to iron your clothes On our last day at the hotel, we found a spider in the room, and the price is high for a 4-star hotel. These are the notes.

The location was excellent, the room view was beautiful, and the air conditioning was excellent. The room was new and they were very attentive to it. The hotel consists of two buildings next to each other. We lived in the other building, and I think the other building had just been renovated. Frankly, I recommend living there, and if I return to Interlaken again, I will live there again.

Cappuccino at breakfast was just coffee with whipped cream not frothed milk.

Very convenient to train station and the walk along the River. Air conditioning worked great after I changed rooms.

A lot of (non-European) guests who behaved very rude and unfriendly towards the hotel staff. They acted like they own the hotel. This caused an unfriendly atmosphere in the breakfast area. Luckily we did not see those guests during the rest of the day.

The family room is very compact for those who have older children and is in a building at the back of the hotel up some stairs that aren’t lit up at night. Thankfully the staff went out of their way to accommodate my request and we were moved as my 70 year old mother couldn’t walk up and down them.

Centrally located to Interlaken Ost station and near all amenities- trips, shops, food.
