How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very new and modern facilities, very clean. Exciting facilities that include, a kids room, arcade/game room, sauna, outdoor area, etc. The apartments are very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Located right by the the train station and the center of town. Pleasant and helpful staff.

The coffee machine didn’t work, but other than this I can not fault the place. A bit costly but that’s expected in Switzerland
Modern and clean, spacious accommodation. Good location too and lots of parking. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The location of the resort is absolutely wonderful. Migros and Coop supermarket is walking distance. The stay at Swiss Peak resort was great.

Receptionist was a bit mean. I think she was the older woman from France who uses the word Viola a bit too much. When we arrived she was talking to one Indian guest and after the guest left she used the French word for ‘b***h’. Very unprofessional and mean. No doubts she said something after we left as well. This is the only thing which should be fixed.

There were no toiletries which is a basic need and no one carries these in their luggage once on holidays. Also it was hot and there was only one fan per apartment which is not suitable for a big family.
Clean, newly built spacious apartments with great location. Meiringen is a beautiful town and 20 to 30 min drive Interlaken. There is a halal restaurant Istanbul Ibis with great food

I had a wonderful stay at Swiss Peak Resort in Switzerland. The resort is excellent, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains that truly enhance the experience. The serene and peaceful environment made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The floor could be cleaner. Wiping the floor with a cloth will show how dirty it actually is. The dishes appeared clean, but after a second look you realise they require another round of washing. Overall, the place was pricey; otherwise, we could have considered extending our stay by two or three nights.
The size of the apartment was lovely, and the furniture was good and relatively new. The entire apartment felt new, fresh, and clean. The balcony had an amazing view, and the facilities in the apartment were good (dishwasher, fridge, oven, etc.). The beds were comfy, and the bed linens were clean and nice. The neighborhood was fantastic. We loved walking around the town and shopping from the local stores. The place was also relatively close to many other attractions. We loved the place and would consider staying there again.

My booking was for an apartment that should've had a balcony. When speaking to the Swisspeak resort receptionist, she blamed booking.com for having incorrect info so probably need to email Swisspeaks beforehand to confirm. Communication via messaging could be improved (would hear back 2 or more days later).
Very clean contemporary apartment with a well-equipped, large kitchen. It was nice having an attached bathroom to one of the bedrooms .The surrounding restaurants and grocery stores made it very convenient and this little town was super cute!

No full bathroom step up, need to buy the bath shampoo etc. but all good
Honestly, above expectations very nice apartment size, 25min to interlaken, in a very quite village, many shops around you, very new apartment, nice for families. In my list always when I visit interlaken for sure

The female staff was a bit rude to the other residents And at the time of checkin - inspite of booking parking space in advance there was lot of confusion.
The property is clean ans beautiful equipped with every thing that you need.
