The apartment was described as an aparthotel, we chose it in this basis to avoid private accommodation in tourist locations. This should have come with a transport card. In querying why this wasn't provided it became apparent the owners are listed as private accommodation with the tourist authorities. The information on the site is misleading. There is something going on around the tourist tax and the information provided to clients, as you do not get what you are entitled to.

Bad quality cotton sheets, old tv (not smart tv), courtain not big enough for the window só you don’t have full black out and the door is a few inches from the ground so you have light coming from the hallway all night. Besides that, just as I was leaving, at exactly 10:09 one of the admin came to see how much longer i would take to leave otherwise she would have to charge me (I already had the door open and all my bags holding the door that way, was just checking to see if i had left anything else there so it was clearly unecessary)

Decent place given that it is one of the cheapest options in town. Good towels, good quality dinnerware and Kitchen utensils

They "provide" a coffee machine and kettle but there was no plug in the kitchen area, only plugs are on the ground near bed. So if I want to boil water we had to move kettle to other side of room on the floor, and the heavy coffee machine was thus impossible to use, and it clearly nevwr had been. Also if you think you might need extra towels bring them, as they charge 40chf for 2 additional towels.

Comfortable room close to station and walkable to lake , old town etc (we're in our 20s-30s). Easy entry, nice quick elevator to rooms on higher floors. Balcony was worth the extra payment in the heat, and was cute to look out on city from.

Our experience at this property was unfortunately very average and fell short of expectations based on the uploaded pictures. The cleanliness was a major concern; the place did not appear as clean as depicted online. Furthermore, the amenities shown in the pictures were not provided. We specifically noted the absence of toiletries, despite them being featured. The bathroom itself was small and unkempt, and similarly, the room had numerous stains, contributing to an overall sense of neglect. While there was a coffee machine, no coffee was supplied. Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay, and I would not recommend this property.

The place is walking distance from the the SBB Station, and some restaurants. It is far from the lake and the main town.

The bed needs upgraded - mattress sloped dramatically to the center - not comfortable. The room was not cleaned / ready until an hour past the appointed check-in time. The corner lamp did not work so the room was dark.

The apartment is a little jaded and not especially well designed. The curtains didn’t close properly and the bathroom was very small. The apartment was also quite hot ( even though it was only 20oC outside), with only one small window that could be opened. The kitchen was quite minimal, suitable for breakfast and lunch but not extensive cooking. But overall, these are minor quibbles. Perfectly good value for money, in what is an expensive housing and hotel market.

Very convenient location, close to Lausanne Gare. It was, surprisingly, also a very quiet residential neighbourhood. I had a south facing apartment with a beautiful view of the mountains and Lake Geneva. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. Perfectly fine for a short stay and good value for money in Lausanne. I slept well.

The apartment was very small.... to a limit where it was on the edge of becoming impractical to move in it. When you have one or two suitcases around.... The bathroom was also tini with little to no room to put personal stuff. There was a small trolley to put things but, as it did not fit under the sink, it was more of an annoyance than anything else. The shower also very small and would not stay up on the fixture (always fell down so you had to hold it with the hand. The most annoying > the washing basin in the bathroom was clogged. Could I have called someone to fix it? likely. Did I want to complicate my life with that?? NOOO, I did not rent an apartment to deal with its cleaning or maintenance.

Very, very slow internet.. during active day - unlit later in the night, basically you need to use your own data. Answering the request for early check in could have come earlier - to prevent me going to the venue.

Location, ease of contactless check-in are top and definitely advantage. It's a pretty basic and a bit older place but I needed the room for a couple of calls and to sleep - the rest of the time I had work outside so it served my needs. The hair dryer worked, warm water was available, normal and functioning shower - all the basics are covered and this is what I was looking for. The coffee maker was a bonus, a recommendations on where to buy coffee could be helpful (or to have a bit of coffee available but it's not realistic for this attractive price).

My main criticism is that I wasn't provided with any general information about the facilities - how and where to remove rubbish, how and when the laundry services are available, is cleaning available by request or are there regular cleaning services? I had to guess or figure out on my own by wandering around the property. Such basic information is very important for guests who are staying more than a few nights.

I have stayed here before, so I knew what to expect. This time, I stayed for just over a week. The place is a basic self-catering accommodation. The bed is reasonably comfortable. The kitchenette is pretty minimal. Good enough to make breakfast or warm up prepared meals, but not really enough for cooking. There is no sofa or armchair, only the bed and two simple chairs. Shower and bathroom are fine. There is plenty of storage space provided. The reason I keep returning to this place is that the location is very convenient. It is close to the main rail station, but not in the actual city centre. There are a number of decent to good restaurants along the Bvd. de Grancy, within five minutes walk, as well as several bakeries, cafes, a supermarket and more.

Some minor things were missing. The room curtain was not very well functioning. The Espresso machine was missing the schucko to swiss adapter. Towels and sheets were only changed once in a 10 day stay. For the price, you expect more :)

The bathroom had bad odour, and there was a big gap (approx. 3 cm) between shower doors so that I had to be super careful not to get the floor wet. Also, the bathroom trash can wasn’t emptied when I checked in, and a staff came next day to clean. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable.

The location was good - close to the train station. A street where some nice restaurants and supermarkets are located is about 5 minutes from the property.
