Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Great location; the metro station is nearby and the hotel is easy to find. It’s on Line 7, Dajiaoting Station (written as one word in the Beijing Metro app, but shown as two separate words on maps). Take Exit C, cross the road under the overpass, and turn right. If you just cross the road from Exit C and walk straight, you’ll find a few small shops and places with typical Chinese food. There are three shopping malls within walking distance—maybe more, but we only visited three! One is on the same side as Exit C, and the others are near Exits A and B. At the last minute, a friend joined me for part of the trip. The staff had no problem accommodating her in my room, and they provided an extra blanket upon request. There is a laundry and ironing room on the 5th floor with two washing machines, two dryers, an iron with a board, and a garment steamer. The rooms are small but cozy, and towels are changed daily. The hotel staff are always helpful—whether it’s calling a taxi, bringing a vase for flowers, or fixing the toilet late at night. Breakfasts are varied, tasty, and filling. Water, snacks, soft drinks, and coffee are free and available at any time. Highly recommended!

AzerbaijanNothing comes to mind :) I was completely satisfied by my stay at this hotel, therefore I have nothing to complain about.
I like the selection, and the quality of the food. The outside tables were also a nice option in case you want to have breakfast outside. Location is nice and quite which I enjoyed very much.

NetherlandsThere were 2 small incidents with the toilet and electricity which was fixed well by the staff. Also one of our kids new t-shirt came out the washing machine stained and brown coloured. We haven't mention it. It might not caused by the washing machine itself but the previous guest using the washing machine....
Breakfast and staff. Staff were very helpful by the beginning via Wechat and via translator. Also they helped us ordering Didi and food and even with the laundry. We didn't missed anything during our stay or 4 nights. The location is a bit far from the city center, but easy enough with metro or Didi. Also we want to stay in between the city center and Universal Studios, so it was perfect for us. There was a mall (ID mall) 10 minutes walking from the hotel with restaurants, a supermarket (10-22h) and McDonalds (6-22h).

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in by far. There is a young lady working there, Shangshang, when I asked why she did so much for me, her reply was. "This is my job, this us what u should do" Breakfast included, evening snacks which is actually an evening meal. When I go back, I'm returning to J8ngli, absolutely fantastic.

United KingdomThe property was in a good location with easy access to the subway. The room was nicely laid out (twin bed room), clean, bright, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast was ok, with few continental options but mainly catered for Chinese palate. Check in and out made very easy. The complementary drinks and snacks were a welcome bonus.

KazakhstanThe staff at the restaurant however don’t speak English, only the young ones could try and help translate but they’re not usually there during breakfast time. So bring your own translator if you need to ask for sugar or forks, but it’s expected so I wouldn’t say it affected my stay in any way as they try to attend all you needs regardless of the language barrier which is so sweet.
Great value for its price, best option for solo traveler on a budget for a short stay. As for couples the rooms as mentioned are on a smaller side, but if you don’t plan to stay in the room whole day it’s fine. I stayed with my mom for three nights and had no problem, considering how small Asian hotels can be this one is alright. We had two hand luggages and only one could be fully opened. But there are shelves where you can keep your clothes. Hotel provides free fruits and drinks 24/7 and “snacks” during the evening, but I’d call it full on dinner, which is great option for those on a budget or just someone who’s lazy and tired after long day of sightseeing and don’t wanna bother finding place to eat (pics of freebies attached) Breakfast is decent as well, different everyday which is good too. The staff is very attentive and use translation apps for communicating, so you won’t have problems with that at the reception.

MalaysiaNothing really. All good.
Room was clean. Staff were absolutely friendly and helpful. I read some reviews that the room is too small but I believe it is definitely worth the price. Plus, breakfast was splendid and they have things like unlimited night snacks and drinks. So def worth it! Of course, communication can be a challenge since most of the staff can't speak English but thats not an issue at all, and as foreigners, we can't complain!
