Our stay here is fantastic. The owners are kind, pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect. It is situated right inside Dali Ancient Town. Halal food is available less than 100m away from our inn's entrance. Didi pickup and drop off point is just outside the inn. It is walking distance to everywhere. Erhai Lake Longkan Wharf is less than 2km away. You can take Didi or taxi to get here. We got an awesome room with really good view. The bed is comfy. The pillows are soft. We had really good night sleep. The showers are great. Water heater is available. I really recommend this place to everyone coming to Dali. There is no reason for you not to stay here. There are live musics nearby the boutique hotel. However, the bars close at 11pm. We were lucky that the host upgraded our room to another facing which is quieter.

The host is a retired couple who have experiences in managing international chain hotels. We booked a car (7 seater including a driver) and the host arranged the itinerary with the driver. The location is just outside the Dali Ancient Town so we didn’t have to drag our baggage along stony streets. Allowing us to use their washing machine is really handy. At night we sat and drank at the rooftop balcony. We ordered western breakfast which is also a plus when we have been eating rice noodles for days. The host is very helpful and knowledgeable. Had very good conversation with the host. Their furry pets are nice too.

It’s a quaint and cosy hotel and the hosts are helpful and very hospitable. The interior décor of the hotel is very attractive and exudes warmth. I will surely recommend to friends.

There was a bar nearby and on one of the nights the live music went on past midnight when it should have stopped by 11pm. But not an issue as the host promptly informed the police to stop the loud music so we slept in peace.

Inn was conveniently located right beside the Er Hai gate and within walking distance to anywhere within the Dali ancient city. Hosts have great taste in the decor and design of the inn and paid attention to small details of the facilities. We had a good time chatting with the host who also gave us useful advice on the routes to take to the various attractions and local delicacies. The two resident cats Riceball and Egg yolk were cute and friendly and we enjoyed listening to their story from Beijing to Dali. Overall amazing service delivered by the hosts and we would gladly stay again if we revisit Dali.

The bathroom, while perfectly clean and functional, could use a re-vamp.

I enjoyed a beautiful room with a great view over the rooftops of Dali. The inn is clean and cosy, with multiple outdoor spaces ideal for relaxing with a beer or coffee. The owners are very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

The inn is quite close to a bar and you can hear singing if you go to bed early (10-11pm). The bar closes around midnight so it wasn't too bad.

The owners were really friendly and helpful when giving pointers about what to do. They also have 2 cats which is always a plus.

We had a discussion with the owner regarding our dog when we checked in. The site said that pets are welcome. As a cat lives in the house, the owner was worried. In the end, everything worked out, but you need to talk to the place before you show up with a pet. Also, the parking is very complicated in this part of the city. If you call ahead, you might get the one parking space in front of the hotel. If not you might need to walk a few hundred meters.

I consider this hotel to be above standard in Dali for places to stay. You are allowed to use the kitchen with refrigerator, which is very clean. The location is in the center of the old town next to dozens of restaurants, food stalls and bars. A chinese style breakfast is served. I can recommend the place.

Only hiccup was on my last night when there was a band playing near the East gate that was very loud. I was there 5 nights and this only happened once so I don’t think it’s a regular occurrence

I highly recommend staying here. The hotel is lovely and very conveniently located. The host is very friendly and helpful. She helped me print some urgent documents and ordered me a taxi when I was having trouble booking one when I was leaving. The upstairs patio is a nice place to recharge with a cup of tea. The bedroom is spacious and tastefully decorated. Highly recommend.
