Beautiful rooms in a great location Staff are knowledgeable and really helpful suggesting places to go and places to eat Breakfast is great with lovely views from the 5th floor. They were kind enough to store our luggage for a couple of days before returning to this wonderful hotel .

The staff was very nice and helpful, nearly fluent in english. If you are interested, a lot of program is offered and could be organised for you. The location is great, nearby the train Station ( 25 min. Walk) and the river and seas. The furnishing is very pretty and special. The Breakfast was very tasty - Chinese and Continental as most of the guests were non-chinese. It was possible to have Breakfast 30 min earlier as offered, because we had to leave. Thanks again.

Very niice small hotel be the lake/park. Away from tourist crowds but still good n a walking distance. Green area, great teahouse ambience, diverse choices for breakfast - at the top floor with a view. Rooms woth a special window tea drinking area. Super friendly english speaking staff. Thanks for a small gift.

The hotel can organise train station and Li Jiang cruise transfers for you - we found out afterwards that they charge about double the rate of local taxis! Just something to be aware of, but the price for day trips etc. was otherwise quite reasonable.

The hotel had an amazingly convenient location, good breakfast and helpful staff reception (including changing our room when our original bathroom had a leaking shower tray).

The first room I got was clammy and smelled damp. But I received directly a new Room and an upgrade. Perfekt.

The reception was exceptionally friendly. The tours I booked through the hotel (Rice Field and Li River Tour) were all perfectly organized. The Dinner recommendation were perfect.

Gorgeous little hotel in a great location, 10 minute drive from the pedestrian road and right next to the lake, great views. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated, antique but modern at the same time. Room was very comfy and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very helpful, especially in finding us a last minute river cruise on a national holiday!

If I have to stay something I'd mention that the breakfast room temperature was quite high. But that's the only less than perfect point during our stay

From the nice welcome with a smile and some tea, to the cozy and nice and comfortable room, to the helpful stuff, to the bowindow area for savouring some tea... everything has been perfect during our stay at the Aroma Tea House.

The view from the room was amazing. The location directly at the lake is beautiful and in the night the colorful lights are really beautiful. The breakfast was compared with the other breakfast. We had quite good don’t expect a five star European or an Arabic breakfast. We don’t know why the comments on booking are so ambitious. We can only recommend this hotel and we have been staying in many hotels in China and all over the world.

The view of the lake from our room, being on a lower level, was blocked by street trees.

Located next to the lake we were able to walk around it enjoying the lovely views. The breakfast room was located at the top floor with perfect views and delicious food. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and were able to organize activities on our behalf. The room was spacious and clean.

This hotel is a gem. The hotel, location, staff, service, and breakfast were amazing. The hotel has real character, art and antiques are tastefully displayed. They create a dreamy and tranquil atmosphere. My wife and I would like extend our appreciation to Rose and all the staff who were professional, kind and attentive during our 5 day stay. They are great ambassadors for This hotel and Guilin in general. The team’s English proficiency was impressive but it was the compassion and care they brought to their work that was exceptional. Rose, Ida and Zuba were very supportive, arranging tours, recommending restaurants and giving directions. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

Scenic location next to Rong Lake. Hotel full of antiques as it used to be a museum. Each room had a tea room next to the window. It would have been so relaxing to drink tea, read books and enjoy the scenery. Or enjoy a stroll around the lakes. Chinese breakfast was good. Service is good

Excellent location next to Rong Lake. Beautiful room with a relaxing tea room in the room, great for relaxing, reading a book and enjoying tea. Very clean hotel full of antiques from different dynasties as this hotel was previously a museum. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy walks around the property. Good Chinese breakfast too. Real value for money!

Really excellent experience. Loved walking around neighborhood. Beautiful view at breakfast. Tea in our little nook. You can’t beat the price for this accommodation. I also got a foot massage in downstairs massage area.

Hotel is a museum itself, with several pieces of art. In the 5th floor you can enjoy a yummy breakfast with a beautiful views of the river and landscape. Staff were so nice, talking a good English and helping you with everything in order to provide you all the info needed to visit the city.

The stay in this hotel was a pleasure. Staff was so nice, helpfull, and speak fluent(!) english. Breakfast was very good with stunning view. Available tours and tips, laundry service. Free water and tea, room cleaned every day. At checkout we received a gift :) we highly recommend this place!! :) good location.
