Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaSwitching off of the AC during daytime. This is unusual practice seen at the hotel. Considering the closed rooms ideally customers should be able to access AC all the time of the day.
I have seen couple of Indians staying at this hotel, considering the same if they include Indian style items in breakfast then that will be good. Also, location is little tricky to get even using the local cab app so the same needs to be improved.

FinlandThere was a mix-up and I was accidentally assigned an already occupied room, luckily this was swiftly fixed. It was a bit difficult to understand what was going on due to limited English on part of the staff.
Breakfast was good and extensive. Good combination of Chinese and Western fare, including fresh salad and buns. Sadly, I had not the time to taste everything, but was satisfied nonetheless. Location is not ideal for tourist trip, in a sense that the place is a bit far off from many of Suzhou's top sights, such as Humble Administrator's Garden. There is a metro close by, at least. So that can be used to get closer to many attractions. Room was clean and spacious with many hygiene amenities provided, along with complementary tea bags and instant coffee.

MalaysiaUnfortunately, our bus or coach are not allowed to enter the hotel compound and we been directed to get down the bus at roadside and pushing our luggage from roadside to hotel lobby. Its quite distance and furthermore we had few luggage. Conversation with the guard to allow us to get in was failed. The single bed was too small and not match with the prices that we paid for.
Location was good and surrounded with shopping complex and variety restaurants. Very convenient. The receptionist was polite and helpful.

United KingdomThe smell always struck us while we walked from our rooms to the lifts. I am not sure if it was the smell of cigarette.
A big shopping mall is next to the hotel and the metro is a 4 minute sheltered walk through the shopping mall. You can choose to eat in a hotel restaurant or have lots of choice inside the shopping mall. I lacked a bottle opener and asked the staff if they could provide it. They delivered it to my door with a robot. Brilliant service.

Sri LankaHotel lobby is in the 7th floor. So it’s pretty inconvenient cos nobody to receive you or your bags. And they don’t have room service. Only breakfast buffet is available but it wasn’t great for an international traveler. Mostly Chinese food. Receptionists don’t speak English so be prepared with translators.
Value for money. Room was best and clean. It was right next to a mall where there is a food court and all.

ChinaScreaming kids in a lobby? Where are their guides? It's not an amusement park it's a hotel. And why is it when these kids see a foreigner they assume an adult would want to speak with them? An adult wanting to chat with some random kid whom bears a dynastic complex...Kids must be put in order in a public place! It's the same as an unbridled drunk. Another thing, considering the virus has slowed down tourism globally, one would expect a cheaper rate, increasing an interest in staying at the hotel, right? I never saw that. Out of ten I would give the hotel a six rating, yes I would recommend it. Bye bye.
Location and breakfast Very Good.
