Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeI had to climb 4 floors up daily. Wish they had lifts.
It’s a decent stay, though it definitely feels more like a homestay than a hotel. There’s no lift, so be prepared to climb the stairs with your luggages. The homestay is located in a rural area, surrounded by old houses. There are no convenience stores nearby. Monegative is the only modern-looking building in the area, it really stands out. If your main plan is to visit Shanghai Disneyland, this place is a good option. It’s close to both Disneyland and the airport. They also provide a free shuttle bus to the Disneyland. However, if you plan to explore the city center (like Wukang Mansion or Anfu Road for example) then be prepared to book a cab (Didi, which is like their version of Grab/ Uber). The journey takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. I didn’t see any metro/ train stations nearby, so I relied on Didi throughout my stay. Overall, Monegative is a good place if you’re only heading to Disneyland. But if your itinerary includes the city or shopping districts, you might find the location too far out. Hope this helps!

New ZealandUnfortunately, we don't speak Chinese nor WeChat so communication was a bit tricky - they have transfer to/from airport and Disneyland but it was hard to arrange. Location is good only relative to Disney, nothing else around. Breakfast is probably good for locals but not so much for western guests.
It is close to Disneyland, there is a small outside play area for kids, staff didn't speak English but they were friendly and tried to help.

United KingdomDidn't look much like the pictures online, room wasn't as clean as I would of liked but they replaced towels etc.. everyday and looked like they did a surface clean. Wasn't a fridge in room like shown either. There isn't much close by the the hotel so will need to take a didi or taxi if you want to get groceries or eat out.
Staff were very nice at the hotel and kind to my daughter. Had to use a translator as no English was spoken but wasn't an issue. Pool and playarea were great, breakfast was yummy, easy to organise a pick up from the airport and the free shuttle to Disney was awesome. Good value for money in terms of what is offered and facilities.

SingaporeBed is too hard. Hotel is not really updated. Could be better. The response on booking.com was quite slow and they couldn't find my booking - took quite some time before I was checked-in. Its not what one would expect when they've had a long day of travel.
It is really a place to stay if you want to have a night sleep and stay the day in Disneyland. They provided shuttle service to and fro Disneyland. They really went above and beyond to provide breakfast, transport and etc. But the hotel is basic and the bed is really hard. I think its value for money if you want to be close to Disneyland.

MalaysiaSome rooms are nice and new. The one we got was a little run down, We need to take the stairs to our rooms but they helped us with the luggage. Otherwise, it will be tough especially with our elderly mum.
The location is good and they provide shuttle bus to Disneyland and to the airport. If you need to dinner after returning from Disneyland, make sure you place your orders in the morning to avoid delay. They serve local dishes and it is tasty. The location is basically in a village and you can explore and experience the lifestyle of locals.

New ZealandIf yoru taking taxi or didi back to the hotel - its too hard to find. For me good thing i have already checked in so i have the hotel details in mu keycard holder which i showed to the driver (written in chinese) so he was able to navigate it. But still the map sayswe have reached it but its not so he triedto call hotel to ask for direction. Breakfast options are not that much.if your arriving late - their latest pickup was 11pm. I arrived at 10pm so it was a bit of stressfull experience on finding the pickup spot. Photos shared here in booking is outdated already. Btw i git bed bug bites after my 2nights stay..
They provide free shuttle for airport pickup and drop off. Same with disney. But take note there is a specific timing that they do this. Like for airport drop off. Even if my flight is at 4.30pm, but their shuttle schedule was 12pm and 2pm - on a safer side i took the 12pm instead. They do provide breakfast - but if your not local, dont expect too much. I cant even recognize what are those, they dont have labels. Room and toilet are decent in size but way different to what you can see in the pic. Actual was a bit outdated. Though staff cannot speak english - they are very helpful and uses a translator gadget which helps. The driver provide instruction and photos on where the pick up location on both airport and disney.

The hotel is conveniently located near Disneyland, with a free shuttle service. The staff were attentive and helpful, even though they could not speak English. The room is spacious, making it suitable for a family. The breakfast was delicious, and I enjoyed it.

United KingdomAccess down a narrow street caused issues with the taxi drivers. Breakfast was available but not food that suited us. Perfectly adequate for an Asian palette.
Suitably close to the Disney park. Transfer was an option, but we didn't use it having already spent 2 days at the park. Easy taxi ride away to go to Disney town with its good food options. Our room was fun and the bed comfortable

ChileNobody speaks English. They used a translation device, which made communication a little difficult at times. The hotel is in a very local area and there didn't seem to be a lot around.
It was a nice place to stay with children. They have a slide and a climbing wall my kids really enjoyed. The breakfast was good and the staff were nice and accommodating. They offered us a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, which was good. You. We'd to download wechat in advance to communicate with them in order to get it.

MongoliaThe hotel did not look like the pictures. The breakfast was poor with very limited options. The room was very small and dirty. The door lock sometimes didn’t work. When I arrived after making a reservation, I couldn’t find any staff at the reception and had to wait for 10 minutes. I would not stay here again.
The hotel is close to Shanghai Disneyland and offered a free shuttle service.
