Location was not bad, its a walking distance to 豫园，城隍庙. Opposite we have a small shopping mall, it offers coffee, food and grocery. We had some issues with the apartment we booked, and was upgraded to a bigger apartment on our 5th night. The new apartment was newly renovated so everything is good. Hosts were professional and communication was great.

The apartment is very clean and bright. The 4 rooms are comfortable, though the 4th one is very small. Everything is brand new and working perfectly, we had a nice stay.

Choosing this apartment was the best choice for this trip. The room is very clean and neat. Supplies are readily available. The address location is excellent. It is very close and convenient to go to the famous attractions in Shanghai. The landlord is very friendly and pleasant to communicate with. I will stay in this apartment again next time I come to Shanghai.

Metro is not very close to the apartment but there is a bus station right at the east gate. Taxi fare in Shanghai is pretty inexpensive so transportation is not really inconvenient.

The apartment located at a main road which is very easy to find. It is very near the Yuyuan Garden and you can easily walk to the Shanghai bund within 10-15 minutes. The living is spacious for group traveller. Bedroom and bathroom are very clean with enough supply of clean towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with heat induction stove, fridge and kitchenware for you to cook meals. There is a washing machine and a big balcony where you can hang dry your clothes. There is 24 hour security so it is very safe. The staff is quick to response and very helpful if you need any help.

Our booking was made here with the pay at the property option but the host contacted us ahead to make the payment in full via WeChat, seemingly to avoid platform fees. The functionality now doesn't allow overseas transfers so we paid in cash at the property instead. It was quite uncomfortable.

The view from the apartment was fab. The location was great as it was in close proximity to local sights so we had a lot to do within walking distance of the apartment

There was no water the first night, the construction upstairs make the whole apartment shake, owner offer to move me to another location far away from tourists attraction and no transportation. Please be aware if you make payment directly to property, booking.com have no way to get your refund back even if they promised. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE.

Building is old. Upstairs is doing construction. Noise is unbearable from 8am to 6 pm, no water in the evening the 1st day. I booked two more nights. Informed owner I wish to cancel. He refused refund , offer to move to another location where is not my desired location. I understand the cancellation policy but the fact the noise is unbearable and move to some place not within walking distance to Yu Garden is not workable as one of my friends join me for the 2 days can’t walk far. I think it was quite unreasonable. I end up paying to get another hotel for 2 nights.
