This is a beautiful unique property in the heart of Fenghuang with an incredible view overlooking the river. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is perfect for exploring this wonderful historic town on foot into the night which is a must with the incredible lights. I especially want to acknowledge our host, who was kind and patient, made excellent recommendations, assisted with boat tickets and restaurants locations to make our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Thank-you for everything! Highly recommend this inn.

Positioned in a quiet spot but close enough to hear and see the Ancient City. The owners were very pleasant and extremely helpful and supportive in making our one day stay practical and enjoyable. The rooms are quiet, clean with beautiful views, everything you need! We took the suggestions from the owner with regards to food and had delicious noodles for lunch, traditional Chinese for dinner and dumplings for breakfast. We had only one afternoon and the owner helped us with selecting must-see points in the old town and the night boat trip! Can recommend for travelers who like quiet clean rooms, with a home feeling while staying close to all the action!

We could have gotten fetched up at the railway station, if we would have read the text the landlord sent the day before. When we arrived he invited us for a welcome tee , cold water and snacks. Meanwhile he took out a map of the city and explained the sightseeing highlight and also where to get good food. He also has access to a really good travel package which includes the boat ride and 7 attractions for a lot less. Usually each of the attractions costs 40yuen each and the boatride at night for 128yuen. The package includes the ride and 7 of them for 148. All in all extraordinary hostility, super view on the stream, clean. A lot more than we expected for that trip.

The hosts were ver communicative. We were in touch via WeChat prior to our arrival and they gave us plenty of recommendations of places to eat and indications on how to get to the hotel.

We were welcomed with tea and fruit. Briefed about the village and the main landmarks. The host helped us throughout the stay to find the best places where to eat and to book a ride back to the station. The room had a stunning view of the riverbank. It was very clean and comfortable. The service and staff were excellent. We were greeted with great kindness and the owner gave us amazing recommendations and service. Really do recommend. Also the rooms themselves were big, clean, pretty and had great views. They also helped us with booking a boat tour and the airport ride.

We would have appreciated easier access to cold drinks, for example by having a fridge in the room or in the lobby. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help when asked, but it would be nice not to have to ask every time

We had a wonderful stay at the Wang Jiang Reclusive Boutique Inn Hotel. The hotel offers a beautiful and tranquil view from the balcony - perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or watching the sunset. The staff was incredibly service-oriented and helpful, going out of their way to assist us with booking everything we needed during our trip. We truly appreciated that the hotel is tucked away from the busiest tourist streets, giving it a peaceful and exclusive feel - yet still very close to everything.

All was perfect.

It was the most beautiful city in China out of 5 we visited. The owner is very helpful, attentive, organized evening Theatre with the fireworks… it was a dream and felt really magical. Fantastic location from all attractions. Very beautiful room with traditional interior and river view. Can’t recommend enough!

The location is right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for visiting historical sites. Most major attractions are just a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's also set beside the river, offering lovely views. The host was exceptionally friendly and even went out of their way to help me navigate the city.

location is great, only 2 mins walk from Nanhua Gate (Nanhuamen), which is just next to entrance to the Ancient Town, unlike some hotels inside the Ancient Town which require long time walking, this is quite easily accessible host carries all the heavy luggage up stairs with super human strength! very welcoming and warm atmosphere by hosts and their cute dog easy communication with WeChat and translation apps all the important sights and restaurant recommendations are made on check-in tea, snacks and fruit offered for free
