Everything, this was one of the most beautiful places and the staff was amazing. They always took very good care of us the entire time, it was the perfect place to relax and the view from our room was so beautiful! Breakfast each morning was also very good it was like our own mother making the meals they were all home made. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and we will be back many times again

The Host Lady was really so nice. We got in near midnight and a driver was organised to pick us up, for free. Watch-out, he was waiting outside the airport, not at the arrivals doorway. The location feels remote, but it makes the view absolutely stunning and adds to the quiet peace. The Host Lady is well-practised at using a translation app, so I don't think communication is a problem. Breakfast is served in the 'restaurant' which is a separate guesthouse-type area down some stairs outside. The breakfast every morning is roughly the same. There is a fried egg, a fruit (melon one day, or orange the next), a vegetable (a corn one day, or a sweet potato the next day) a bread-type bun, and a bao-bun. AND ALSO a bowl of noodle soup with mince. It can be a lot. Our final breakfast also had rice porridge on top of all that. If you need help planning your day, the Host Lady is happy to help. She is always available on WeChat. If you book the southern entrance of the Zhangjiajie Forrest Park, she can drive you to the entrance (and pick-up) as it's only a few minutes' drive away. If you need a driver for the day for further away, they will book you a driver (you pay them directly via Weixin). We had a driver for the whole day to go to the Canyon Bridge. Our first full day, the Host Lady had a fresh home-made dinner made for us in their restaurant. It was 210 RMB, but it was very nice.

This has been one of my best experiences I have ever had at a hotel! The owner was extremely kind and made sure that we could have a great time. She prepared for free a full three-day itinerary customized for us, arranged a driver and bought all the tickets that we needed. Moreover, she made sure to follow up with us and was available to reply to our questions. That alone saved us hundreds of dollars. The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are big and have everything you need. Also, the location is very convenient right next to the National Park and it is a lovely place to relax. They can also prepare customized meals for you at a low price. I recommend 100%, you will have a great time!

Best host ever!! Not enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was and to what extent the host went to making us feel welcomed and ensure our trip went smoothly. We landed way earlier than expected at the airport but the host already arranged for timely pick up and upon reaching at the hotel, accomodated us in the room. On top of that, made brunch to welcome us. We already had our tickets to the national forest park but the host provided a customised route based on our entry point to the park. The route plan was so detailed, we got around really easily while visiting everything we wanted. I’m also vegetarian and had lunch and dinner at the property everyday. The host even customized some menu items to make them vegetarian so I can enjoy different types of meals!! The hotel is in a great location, providing an extraordinary view of the mountains. We were lucky to enjoy the spectacular views in different weather conditions during our stay. Located at a proximity to the Zhangjiajie National Forest park, it takes only around 10 mins to reach the South gate and around 30 mins to reach the East gate. Note that the host also provides free shuttle to the park but I also wanted to update on the DIDI comment. Didi is accessible to and from the location. Hotel is also equipped with modern facilities and very well maintained. After a visit to the surrounding attractions, soaking in the jacuzzi while enjoying the views was so relaxing. Overall would definitely recommend and surely come back again during winter to enjoy snow and the mountains.

Our stay was incredible! the facilities, location, views, staff, food, and room are all fantastic. The staff gave us free lifts when we needed them, and offered free drink in the hotel. This was the most expensive hotel we stay at in China, but it was well worth the price, such an experience, i would recommend visiting and would certainly stay again

This is an incredibly beautiful and cozy place! The rooms are spacious, modern, and very well-equipped with everything you need. The hotel grounds are stunning, and the design of the property is truly impressive. It’s just a 10-minute taxi ride (Didi arrives quickly) to the East Gate of the park. The hotel serves delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. But the real gem of your stay will be the hotel hostess—she is amazing! She will arrange everything you need, offer helpful advice, and even make bookings for you if you haven’t done so yourself. We were extremely pleased with our stay at this wonderful retreat.

The room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the spectacular view from the room. The hostess was also very friendly and helpful. She offered to help us with our luggage up the steps and offered great assistance with how to get around to the tourist spots. She gave us a ride down to the South Gate and also helped us with sorting the tickets, etc. Breakfast was also very lovely at the beautiful location.

The view and the hotel are truly exceptional, and the room is fantastic. It offers the most stunning view, which can be enjoyed either from the spa or from a comfortable chair in the room. By far the best hotel experience we’ve had in China. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful – always smiling and willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay. We had an absolutely fantastic weekend! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the charming host, who met us at the station and took us to this amazing place. Despite the late hour—close to midnight—we were offered a delicious meal, which was such a thoughtful gesture! I liked everything.

Location: The location was great: up in the mountains, so it was very calm and quiet after a day in Zhangjiajie National Park with lots of tourists. The property is right between two entrances (Forest Park and Zumagang entrance) and therefore only ten minutes drive to either of these entrances. The hotel provides for free transportation to the National Park and airport. Property: The hotel is very new, the room is spacious with a great view. The bedding is very comfortable, I loved the big and soft towels. There is a hot tub with mountain view. Food: There are no restaurants in the area but the food (breakfast and dinner) in the hotel is delicious. Services: The staff goes above and beyond to help you with transportation and provides great advice about the visit to the National Park and surrounding area. I can only recommend this place.

Nothing! Might be useful to have an extra signpost on the junction just to help taxis in the dark at night, don't think it's a very well known hotel at the moment so they were skeptical they were going in the right direction

We absolutely loved our stay! Very clean, comfortable, spacious and modern (love the modern toilet and actually having a filtered water tap in the room) Absolutely stunning views in a really quiet area. Taxis were easy and cheap to get to and from the entrances and into the town for more amenities but they did offer us a beautiful traditional dinner at the hotel. Hosts are amazing, we loved her! Super helpful in helping us plan our days and book tickets and picking us up, laundry etc. It really was a home from home. (All pics from the room/grounds)

Wow! AMAZING! this hotel has a very big and comfortable room, so clean and pretty! The views are so stunning too from the bathtub and bed! Waking up to it everyday was amazing. It is located away from the city and tourist areas so it is very calm and peaceful, so if you want serenity and peacefulness, this is the hotel for you! Staff help you get to/from the national park & bus station so being away from the main area isn’t a problem. The staff is AMAZING! They helped me with any problems I had, since I had problems with my WeChat and card, my SIM card ect as I’m a foreigner, and they made sure to have a solution for everything. Along with making me tea or dinner if I needed. It felt like home, I didn’t want to leave !

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location and room were top notch. We got a free room upgrade to a Superior Suite that got us an unbelievable view into the valley and towards the iconic Zhangjiajie mountains. Special thanks to the owner and crew, who drafted up a travel plan that fit the duration of our stay in the Zhangjiajie area and got us all of the needed tickets. This was incredibly helpful, especially for us being complete strangers to the area. This, as well as shuttle services to the park entrances and transfers from the airport, were all arranged for no additional cost. We also enjoyed the food, the ingredients of which come from their own farm. Our wishes were taken into account wherever possible. All in all, highly recommended for a stay in the mountains and we would definitely stay here again.

Basically nothing, except that you have to depend on a car every time you need to go out. But, having them bringing me everywhere was the solution!

My stay wouldn’t have been the same had I stayed somewhere else. The staff really treated me like a friend coming home, every single moment, every single person. I felt really safe and taken care of. They went to pick me up to the train station and offered to help me with transportation with no extra cost for most of the days; Breakfast was delicious and different every day! They even washed my sneakers because they saw they were dirty!!!!! 🥰 I mean, really it was beyond any expectation. The property is small, but you don’t really need more as most of the time you are visiting. But even staying there, with the view from my room, having a bathtub, the fine air, surrounded by nature, is priceless. Besides the awesome service, the rooms are super clean, no trace of smoking at all (I don’t smoke and that is a non negotiable for me in any room), spacious, delicious soft pillows, the bidet was the most modern with all functions automatic, even the cover lifted or closed automatically… Really really, mind blowing! I will come back, and definitely stay there every single time! It feels like the natural way, coming back home!
