The facilities were even better than the photos and information about the property. It wasn't clear if there was a kitchen stove based on the description but there was a stove in addition to all the other kitchen appliances. The owner met us when we arrived and gave us a tour. He had the refrigerator and pantry stocked up with complementary items including some beer and a bottle of wine. The private garden was beautiful. Perfect location as well.

The staff were very helpful answering our questions about how to get places, restaurants etc. The room was beautiful and spacious. Great location for going to the museums. We also enjoyed sitting outside and having lunch on the terrace by the fountain!

It was noisy at night. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant emptied out their trash at 2 a.m. which woke us up. But obviously not the fault of the Clayton.

So cosy and immaculate. Immaculate. Upscale comfortable furniture and beds. Staff professional, friendly and helpful. The location was quiet but close to all the things we wanted , restaurants, shopping and museums. Could not have been a better choice.

The staff were extremely friendly. The room was very pretty and cozy. The bathroom was very spacious. We received a room with twin beds as we requested which we really appreciated.

The drains in both shower and sink were extremely slow, I had to pause showering at one point to not flood the bathroom as it was a walk in shower corner with no door. The room was extremely poorly lit, the bathroom as well. It was difficult to see anything. Please add at least a standing lamp! There were no curtains only the thick drapes so we didn’t feel like we had enough privacy due to the close proximity of the building on the opposite side.

Unfortunately It’s far from Amsterdam downtown so you have to connect by bus only. Yet shuttle from airport doesn’t take you at the hotel door, you have to walk for 7-8 minutes
