Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PeruStaff needs training in customer service. Some were really good- others really really bad attitude. The complimentary shuttle to the airport works well but NOTE you MUST request and reserve the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. They DO NOT go through every hour as advertised. I waited for an hour and a half for nothing- and they never replied the phone. They should be more open about this. The pool restaurant:bar was closed with construction. The pool area was a little abandoned (no towels, no water, no drinks…).
Location close to the airport and Avis rental cars. There is a Starbucks right across, as well as, food truck food court and a mini supermarket- very convenient. Room was overall comfortable- good size, nice bed, modern, clean. Breakfast buffet is ok.

United StatesThe customer service of the front desk of the young with the glasses (Nayalen) at the time of check in was not friendly, borderline rude, and was on her phone instead of paying attention. Also we had several bags and only one young man helped us to check in. No one helped us when we were leaving.

FranceWere not informed that the shuttle bus was only on demand - we waited for an hour at the airport as all the other hotel shuttles were looping - and the hotel name was on the list outside - in fact another Marriott hotel driver told us one would come - meant in the end a $30 ride in a dodgy taxi - really not happy with this after a 12 hour flight. Also hotel didn’t answer calls and wouldn’t accept WhatsApp. Apologies but no offer to pay the taxi - room was clean and functional, good bed but not good value for the $300 price tag!
Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Fresh fruit and meats, choice of muesli, chai, pastries. Good fruit juices, waffles etc.

CanadaCheck-in/out procedure is long because not enough staff at peak hours or maybe unnecessarily long. Also, I was bothered by having to ask the hotel everyday to clean my room. This should be an essential service provided by any hotel. Also, no room service at breakfast time is a no brainer. If this is supposed to attract business clientele, you should offer that option.
Great ambiance and very helpful and committed staff. Very clean and updated facilities. Rooftop and pool are nicely done. Great gym as well for those who train while travelling for business.

United StatesThe staff at the Front Desk was nottrained propery and did not handle the problem or help in any way. They simply were not trained. I refused to accept the room that was assigned, they had not other rooms avaialble,there was NO WIFI available to Cancel the reseervation and left the hotel. The Front Desk Staff on duty assured me that they had cancelled the reservation at the time that we left. It was never cancelled.

Singaporei unfortunately found that the toilet bowl wasn’t clean…. no bathrobes, no toothbrushes and no wineglasses available in the room. in the room there are tea bags but no tea mugs. the bar is only available after 12:00. the swimming pool was not available during our stay. a little bit of confused staff.
the room was spacious and brand new and the bed very comfortable. the smart tv , big shower and big bathtub. free shuttle to the international airport. the bar prepares amazing cocktails. they allowed us to check in a couple of hrs earlier.
