We had some cockroaches in the bathroom and the noise from cars and people from the floor upstairs were quite sleep-disturbing

The noice from the street was very loud. A shared kitchen would have been great for making a coffee in the morning or prepare something simple. No hairdryer in the room (this is a general thing in CR).

Simple accomodation, few min walking from the centre of Santa Elena. The host were gentle with us and helped choosing between the activities they were in collaboration with.

It's a very simple place with no facilities but absolutely ok for the price.

The location is good as it's not far from the centre and there are restaurants and a supermarket close by. The bed was extremely comfy and the room was a good size. The shower was also great and WiFi was reliable.

Could have done with a new shower head, the water comes out like a jet. And a sign saying cowboy hostel would have been useful for finding ut for the fist time. All the local bus companies seemed to know where it was though :)

Good location about 10 minutes walk away from the centre of town. Nice and clean, comfortable and good value for money. We didnt interact with the staff much but they seemed nice and They let us check in early as ourr bus from San jose arrived at around 11.30am

A bit out of town. Due to Windows always being open there were some bugs, especially at night.

Can be rather noisy since walls are thin. Mostly because of motorbikes from the street.

Large room with spacious bathroom. Friendly staff that let us use their kettle and bowls to make our own breakfast. Close to a supermarket and a couple of restaurants.

No opportunity to make some food or have breakfast. Bathrooms are rather old and not really appealing. Quite close to a street which results in a lot of noise.

Perfect location for a visit to Santa Elena Nationalpark and all facilities in Santa Elena, but not within the crowded area. Parking spot directly in front of the hostel. Spacious room & possibilty to sit outside. If you ask nicely you even get a boiler to make some tea.

- There were construction works going on next to our place which were loud during the day. Ofcourse, the hotel can do nothing about this. - We had to pay cash because the machine did not work. - Someone at the reception said that we could book a zipline tour cheaper through him, but eventually we had to pay the full price.

A fair price for the rooms. Staff does not speak english, but try really hard. Wifi was very good.

There was not a fan or air-conditioning, so it got a little stuffy inside. A mini fridge would have been great and helpful

The location was perfectly just outside of town - easy walking distance. The room was nice and clean. We liked having a place to park and an outdoor space to sit. For the price a great value!

We arrived during reception hours and had to call to get the receptionist to come check us in. Would be good to have screen on windows for bugs. No soap given. No cooking kitchen but some freedoms mentioned above made it better.

Beds were comfortable. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Beds were big and comfortable and a blanket was included ! It is definitely more of a hotel than a hostel. We loved the fact that we could use the fridge at our convenience with a key and there were dishes and a space to wash up.
