the staff didn’t speak English well, so when we asked for his help about an issue we had with some bus tickets he couldn’t help us at all. also he proposed not to walk outside the hotel because the location wasn’t safe and is better to take an Uber or a taxi.

the room was big and clean. we are at the restaurant also and the food was nice.

the restaurant area did look more like an airport and could probably be more inviting but other than that to be honest it did exactly what we needed it to do. breakfast was average for a hotel like this but we did not mind so much as we were only there for 1 night.

pleasantly surprised to be honest, the room was a great size, the beds were super comfy and the shower/bathroom were a treat. the parking just underneath the hotel was easily accessible and didn't cost anything extra which we were surprised at. we were skeptical about eating there that evening but having seen quite a few people begging locally and it was quite dark nearby so we ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was actually very pleasant to be fair. all in all it was well worth the money.

it does have a swimming pool which is about 3 feet deep and cold.

Although being part of a big group you really felt personal attention.

Driving in San Jose is no fun. I recommend avoiding San Jose altogether unless you are just really determined to visit. The walk to the museums and park is pretty far, and driving is not recommended for the above-mentioned reasons. The Thanksgiving dinner was really expensive, $35 a person. It was good, but not that good. Breakfast was okay but not the best.

The hotel was nice. It was clean. The beds were pretty comfortable, and the sheets and comforters were heavier than the typical kleenex consistency that hotels provide. There is a restaurant. We had Thanksgiving dinner and breakfast the next morning. The Thanksgiving dinner was pretty good but expensive. The location was not as close to the major sites as I would have liked, but it was in a good location (as good as any location that requires driving in San Jose could be). The parking garage was adequate and secure. The staff was nice. We did not use the pool, so I can't speak to it.

What you'd expect from a big 'chain' hotel - good facilities and clean, but no character or atmosphere.

Good hotel for an overnight stay on arrival in San Jose before travelling on the next day. Further from the airport than some hotels but a better price when we booked. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Breakfast was a bit easy. The hot food variety was really great, nothing to complain about. But the rest was just a little bit of everything. And fruits, cheese, meat was covered with plastic wrap, strange. Expected more from a 4 star hotel.
