The road to the accommodation was a bit bumpy, but that should be our biggest problem. :)

It was an amazing place in the jungle, yet close to the main road and Puerto Viejo. Breakfast was always fresh, with delicious smoothies and crepes. All the staff members and owners were super nice and showed us attention. The villa was well equipped, comfortable and very clean.

You need a car or a bike. It isn’t walking distance from main activities and the beaches.

The experience was amazing the bungalows are integrated in the jungle, you are surrounded by nature and animals. The rooms were very comfortable and with excellent taste. Not a lot of people so it made it feel very exclusive.

Very helpfull and kind, everything has been thought of, including water to drink. Very clear communication. The surrounding is very peacefull and very pura vida. Breakfast is the best, many options to choose from and tasty. We honestly could not think of something to improve. PS. Don't miss out and on the iced coffee, Bryan makes the best!

amazing location, just 3 min away from the main road . very few bungalows carefully integrated into the nature. Almost a jungle feeling with noise from birds and monkeys. a reduced modern style inside the bungalows (we liked the shower!) great little pool with afternoon bar & snacks. good breakfast. the french owners created something rare and special. thanks for great hospitality during our stay Paola and Raphael.

Our stay at Satta Lodge exceeded our expectations. The villa we rented had the quality of a boutique hotel, with high-quality materials and excellent design—mixing French South West art of living style with local Costa Rican. The property is located in the jungle, very close to the beach, restaurants, etc., but thankfully not too close, allowed us to avoid noise pollution and extreme heat. The property boasts a stylish pool, great cocktails and breakfast. Special thanks to Brian, who provided us with top-notch recommendations i.e. restaurants, etc. Overall, this property comes highly recommended, and I would definitely go back anytime!

Wow, what a beautiful and serene place this is! Luxurious bungalows, very clean and comfortable. The pool is so cool with all the plants. The restaurant is very good and breakfast is delicious. Just a jungle oasis outside of Puerto Viejo. Super friendly and helpful staff. We got great advice for our day trips and restaurants. One of our favorite places! Thank you so much!

The rooms didn’t have AC, just an overhead fan but if you showered before bed it was enough to be comfortable.

This lodge was classy, had beautiful bungalows and the lovely lounge area in the middle was very well laid out…..there was ample seating, a refreshing pool and a good breakfast selection as well as drinks & tapas from 3-7pm. and all in a jungle setting. Bryan is a super host too!!!!

Well, without any mosquito coil or repalent, we would not be able to sit outside in the evenings.

We liked everything and were very happy with our choice. The little house in the middle of the forest/jungle was amazing. It was so quiet. Only at 4 am the hawley monkeys were waking us up with their funny voices. Bryan recommend us a good place to eat dinners at Selvin in Punta Uva and we were in love in that place too. Having a car really helps. You can visit all these playas and a must see that is Cahuita NP.

Like an oasis in the rainforest, Satto Lodge has everything you need for a relaxing getaway from the busy Puerto Viejo. We loved the junior suite with balcony and outdoor shower, and the pool and restaurant area was brilliant. Finally, Bryan was very helpful in giving recommendations, booking us a kayaking trip and sending information via WhatsApp. We would 100% recommend Satto Lodge and would love to come back again!

It’s a bit off the main road and not suitable for a sedan. However, this gets you more into the jungle life.

The wildlife is prevalent here. Any eaters, howler monkeys, and goutis everywhere. Bryan was very helpful and informative with activities, restaurants and culture.

The property is on top of a hill with a dirt road where not every shuttle can drive up to. If you have a car or a motorbike with good experience it could be fun

Because of the jungle setting, it does get a bit bitey, so be prepared.

The lodges are lovely, beautifully made with huge bathrooms. The setting feels like you’re right in the heart of the jungle and you can hear howlers most mornings. The pool is a nice addition and the staff were really great, super friendly and created really nice vibes. Breakfast was yummy. Our fave place we stayed in all of Costa Rica!
