This property was so cute! Great location about 5 min drive to the downtown area. The villas are secluded so you have privacy. The hiking around the property was great. Breakfast was homemade and prepared hot when we were ready

The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to see but far enough away from the main town to feel like we were in nature. The cabins are beautiful and the property is stunning. Getting to walk through the trails of the coffee plantation was a huge bonus and we saw lots of wildlife during our one night stay including an owl, armadillo, parrots, and a margay cat! The breakfast was delicious with local ingredients and coffee from the property.

Tityra Lodge was amazing! Great value for the cost! Breakfast was delicious. The location was quiet and beautiful with hummingbirds by the deck! Super friendly staff that were so accommodating. We ended up landing in Liberia way later than expected after dark and driving to monteverde was not recommended. They credited us one night so we could stay in Liberia and drive up the next day and had our room ready early for us. Would highly recommend for couples or families. We were a family of 4 and really enjoyed our stay!!

There is a mild mildew small from the humidity. There was 1 dehumidifier in the room, we had to pour out water twice a day.

The sliding glass bathroom doors are difficult to open/close, but the shower still had great water pressure - and we really needed a warm shower with the rain!

An absolutely gorgeous setting, a perfect option for Monteverde. Close to what we wanted to see, but not too close to other properties. We loved the privacy of each cabin, so we were able to enjoy the forest and chill out. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful. We also enjoyed taking a little hike around the property to see the coffee plantation and fruit trees - no wonder the breakfast is so good!

The views are to die for, but in the afternoon one of the days, a bunch of flying bugs. The ladies came to the room as soon as we called them and clean everything very quick.

Very close to the activities around, but a car is a must. The staff and the breakfast are a highlight.

Although we were only there one quick night, we adored the charming accommodations! The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions about the area. Breakfast was lovely, delicious, made to order and served to us. Had we been in a hurry, one option was available to go. We walked around the lovely property trails, even though it was raining a bit. This stay was a great value for our family of 5. Love that the cabin could accommodate 5 with the sofa bed.

Beautiful apartman with stylish interior. Huge windows in front of the bed with a view to the forest. Well equipped with a mini-fridge, coffe maker, hair drier etc. The hotel is located next to a coffee plantation owned by the same family. There are trails leading to the coffee shrubs, through the forest and to a banana plantation. I wish we stayed more than one night to fully explore and enjoy.

The hut we stayed in felt really cold in the night and very hot during the day,

Beautiful surroundings and a very cool outdoor space, with the room opening to the terrace and effectively making us feel that we live outdoor. Delicious breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. It's a bit further away from all attractions, but organizing taxis is easy and quick.

It was a bit noisy by the road however there wasn’t much traffic at night so this wasn’t a problem for us.

Loved our stay at Tityra. We had a cute cabin that was really comfortable and all we needed. We enjoyed the short trails the afternoon we arrived and got up close to a Toucan. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was great (big breakfasts to fuel you up for the day!). We only stayed a couple of nights as we were only spending a day zip-lining. It’s really close to Selvatura so perfect location for this. I also thought it was very good value for money.

We had the bungalow that is the closest to the main road, so we could here cars and trucks driving by.

The bungalow is clean and spacious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can choose out of a few options for breakfast and it’s delicious. The complimentary coffee in your room is a nice bonus. We actually bought their lovely coffee to bring home!
